Very good for puppies

Buyer beware. Made in China by a polymer company. Google says they convert plastic into biodegradable matter using vegetable oil. I have been giving these to my dog without suspecting and have twice experienced liver problems. Don't know if its related but after i stopped using these my dogs digestion has never been affected. The treat is a favorite for my dog and it smells nice. Its sad that now that i know its unhealthy i cant let my dog have it. If your dog gets sick plz discontinue it.

Thought it would take longer to chew. But it is rather soft and my 7 yr old Labrador eats it up in under 2mins. She loves it. But it just gets consumed immediately instead of keeping her engaged for sometime.

My dogs absolutely LOVE these treats! Recently, my puppy got a pack in her Barkbox of the Peanut Butter/Carob flavor, and not only did she eat them, but the other dogs in the house had a blast with them! I got the Vanilla/Mint and the dogs pretty much killed them with fervor. I love that these are easy for dogs of all ages to eat-- my 8-month old puppy chomps them, our middle-aged dog eats it more delicately, and our senior (with two teeth) pretty much gums them. It leaves them all with fresh breath and happy wagging tails. I only wish the small packages came with more! The packages don't last nearly long enough with three dogs, so I have to limit the Twistix a lot more than regular treats. I'll be buying the tub of them next time! It would be a dream come true if they had tubs of the other flavors, but I'm fine with this for now. All of the dogs are pugs, and they go through the large sized ones quickly. So if you have even a medium-sized dog, go for the large. The small sized are practically gulp-able, so probably should be reserved for mini breeds or teeny dogs. I wholeheartedly recommend these to anyone with dogs! I'm looking forward to putting some in Mabel's stocking this Christmas, and I might even give some to my other dog-owning friends this holiday season!

Had to buy large because all they had in stock was either large or extra petite/small which was for dogs 9 lb and under. I first gave him a large by himself and took him quite a while to chew on it and he did get it gone. He's a 17 lb Pomeranian. There's only seven in a bag, n paid with tax just over 9.00, which I think it's to high for only 7 chews, so the next time I gave one to him I cut it in half. That seemed to work a lot better. He likes them very much he'll sit there and chew it until it's all gone. The vet said look into the brand oravet but they were so expensive it was crazy. 15.00 for a 2 week supply. So I found these and got them to try to make sure they like them. Also found another brand and ordered them to try as well to see which ones he likes better. Both brands that I bought do the exact same thing as ovavet so make sure when you're looking that you are for sure that it cleans the teeth and helps get the tartar off and controls the tartar from sticking again to their teeth. Bonus, freshens the breath too. If you have to do a cleaning on their teeth at my vet it's just $100 for the blood work and they have to do blood work before they can even clean their teeth because they have to knock them out to clean their teeth. So I don't know many of us that would want to put our dogs through that without trying to get these certain brands that claim to remove the existing tarter and help keep any new tartar from forming. I'm sorry I can't tell you 100% yet if this brand does what it says it does because he's only used it twice. But I can say that he does like it and it does brush in his breath. They could go a little lower on the price in my opinion being there was only seven in the bag and with tax it was over $9 but it seems everything's going up so the company has control over that so we just buy with our fur babies need regardless. But I would definitely give this brand a try if the expense of it is no issue to you. The other brand I believe was arm & Hammer and you got more for your money but I have not used those yet so I cannot comment or review on those because I haven't received them yet to try them. But again I would try this brand because there was no hesitation of him liking it and the way they feel and the texture I do believe that they will help with his tartar it's just a matter of how well and how long before I notice it will happen.
