Fargesia robusta 'Wolong' Clumping Bamboo 3'-4' Tall Live Plant

These arrived a few months ago and have been thriving. I cannot wait until they are larger and will screen an ugly pool fence of my neighbors. Thank you for offering these at such a great price. If i can find clumping bamboo at all at local nurserys they are around $50 for a gallon plant! Such a great deal for such beautiful specimens. Thank you!

Ordered 3 bamboo plants which were the worst I’ve ever have seen for sale anywhere. Each plant had one pencil size cane and a few leaves, except for one which arrived with no leaves at all. Photos on seller’s site showed healthy plants with many canes. Total deception by seller. After wasting my time unpacking, repacking and shipping plants back to seller, they act like they never received them. I still have no refund, just frustration. I have personally raised well over 100 varieties of bamboo in the past and know what a bamboo plant is supposed to look like. My advice to anyone now is to go americanbamboo.org to locate a reputable bamboo grower in your area, which I regret not doing.

Plant arrived well packaged, undamaged. I potted it for a bit while I was still prepping the bed where it was going to go. It shot up over 6 new culms while in the pot...so it is a happy viable plant. It is now planted in the ground, where it has continued to set branches and leaves on those new culms all the way to now in october...expecting it to continue to do well and get taller in the spring with a new round of culms!

All mine have died during the Texas summer. This is good for cold weather but not hot weather. I lost money. The descripion that this plant will tolerate hot weather is very misleading. My location is is Zone 8a.
