best you can find without Rx
Works great, keep in mind 5% wont solve all you pain issues but it is good for small wounds. Also remember this has to be absorbed through a wound or other opening, like a tattoo ect. The spray is easy to get into corners of nails and such compared to the salve. I use this for hang nails and nuts and burns. If you want stronger you have to have a Rx or know a guy. Note: dont store with the bottle on its side, this can lead to a very minor and slow leak that will gunk up the sprayer a little.

Great for neuropathy in feet
Purchased for neuropathy in feet. I spray on my feet at night and it helps a lot.

easy to apply, perhaps less effective than an ointment
Spray is Easy to apply, but seems less effective than lidocaine ointments that you rub in.

I wish I could give this 0 stars because it had zero effect! EPIC FAIL
I bought this product because it has excellent reviews, and people reported using it as a tattoo numbing spray. If people can handle getting a tattoo with it, surely it would work for my first Brazilian wax. Wrong! Those reviews have to be fake because this spray was a waste of money. I did not feel a tingle, a numbing sensation, or anything! I'm very disappointed, and I wish I could return this useless product. If you want to be numb for any cosmetic procedure, don't waste your time. This product ain't it! I'm out of $25 (product plus taxes), and I had to power through the pain from the waxing.

Helps take the edge off weekly home auto-injector shot
Due to a health issue, I self-administer an auto-injector shot at home once a week. It is a pretty big needle and is pretty painful to do. I'm on my second bottle of the Ebanel lidocaine spray and while it does not completely numb the area, it definitely helps take the edge off the pain. I clean the area on my leg and give a few sprays of the lidocaine where I plan to put the auto-injector. The spray basically no smell and is not greasy. I let it sit on my leg for 10-15 minutes to let it have as much effect as possible and then do the auto-injector. I will keep using this product unless I happen to find something better.
