Easy to install...good quality

The pigeons were a nuisance in our balcony which was the air conditioning units and pipes as wonderful nesting options for the birds. The balcony was practically dirty everyday and since my wife had recently started growing some herbs in pots, the birds weren't sparing even a single plant in the balcony. Also having 2 little kids at home, I knew the waste of pigeons was very unhealthy for the kids respiratory systems. So I had to practically keep, an otherwise well ventilated apartments, balcony doors closed most of the time. The pigeon net vendors in my apartment quoted me 6k to fix the nets for my balcony which is almost 22 feet long. When I saw Anti-Bird Nylon Net on Amazon at below Rs 1300 for a 30 feet length I decided to give it a try. It came with the net, the main string and cable ties. I used wire clips (a box of 100 clips costs about 150/- and is available on Amazon as well), to fix the main string close the ceiling and ran it across the entire outer perimeter of the balcony. I made sure the string was pulled tight and fastened well at both ends. Then fixed the net to the main string using the cable ties. The complete work took me 2 hours single handedly and costed me below 1400 rupees. It's been almost 2 months now and my wife's nursery is thriving as well as my kids are comfortably enjoying the balcony. Additionally, it's become a good safety for the kids as the entire net is quite strong. The cable ties were adequate in number (30 pcs) for me but then depending on your installation you may need more. Cable ties can be bought for about 75 rupees for 50 pcs from any electrical store or even available on Amazon (but slightly expensive). This is a perfect value for money product. Size was big by 5 to 6 inches approximately, due to which difficulty faced while fixing two adjacent sides. Net was thin and very flimsy and tying was a challenge.
