My hair is thinning somewhat, and is dark brown with white roots. I've tried several root concealer products, and Style Edit is by far the best I've used. Just a little spritz on the top of my head covers roots that are showing, and while I usually have to touch up my 'skunk stripe' every two weeks, this product will buy me at least an extra week between colorings. It's also great when I wear my hair up to conceal any hint of pink scalp showing through. I like that it doesn't leave a stiff or greasy residue once you let it dry and comb through it. One issue, though, is that the colors are not what they are advertised. The first time I tried this, I ordered dark brown, since that's my hair color, but it was straight-up black. So now I use the Light/Medium Brown, and it's perfect.

This product is AMAZING! It works just as described and is so easy to use it is ridiculous! The product is also easy to spray. The nozzle allows me to directly spray only the areas I need without any issues. No overspray or excessive product comes out. I have no issues as some of the reviews mentioned with a mess. If I am too liberal with the product, I use tissue to blot lightly immediately. I am using this product sparingly to touch up my grays while on a work detail across the country. With this product, I can go two months or longer without a visit to my hair stylist -typically every 4 weeks for a root touch up cause my hair grows ridiculously fast. I found the product sets quickly and doesn't come off (on pillow cases, towels, sheets) once set. I have even worked out with this stuff in my hair with no issues there either. Follow the instructions just as I did and you should have a similar experience! Product really does stay on until shampooed out. It is not heavy, spreads well, and I am hooked! I wish I had looked into this sooner! Seriously, I'm hooked!!!!!

I had little expectations when ordering this spray, even though the reviews were quite good. Wow...was I ever surprised at how really wonderful this spray is. I used to have very thick hair, but in the past year my hair began to thin quite a bit. My scalp, as well as my grey roots, were an embarrassment. Windy days were my nemesis. Okay...so I ordered Style Edit hair filler and was completely overwhelmed by its' coverage, both of the missing hair and the the grey roots. I'm almost ready to give up coloring my roots every month. Another surprise....the color does not run, nor does it come off on my clothes or pillow. It washes out with each shampoo, which was expected. As one of the other reviewers said, this needs to be available in a larger size. I don't know how long one can will last yet, but I'm about to order a few more right now. Oh, and by the way, I ordered it in medium/light brown, which is perfect for me. Not too light, not too dark.

I purchased this in an attempt to disguise some recent hair loss based on some other reviews. It does help disguise sparse patches, but you have to be very careful with the application because it can look like you just spray painted your scalp if it isn't distributed properly. I had some pretty comical first attempts and a small scare the first time I showered. The good news is this product rinses right out in the shower! As soon as water hit my head, I had poo brown water spots covering every inch of the shower and some of the wall. They came right off, so there was no concern. If you go heavy with the application it may look like the scene from "Psycho" with all the product running from your hair. The other non-issue I've found is I have to be very careful if I touch or scratch the top of my head. The color transfers very easily and you could be walking around with a smudge on your face and have no idea =O I think this is a great product and would recommend it. I would not recommend using this if you will be sweating or if there is a chance of rain in the forecast.

This stuff is so helpful to help me extend the length of time between colorings. Gray and thinning hair has a real friend with this stuff. In some ways a bit pricey but well worth it for peace of mind and feeling good about how I look. I love knowing I can always gently, with no mess, conceal those balding/graying spots. My sister and I had tried a myriad of product with no real success until she discovered this and we have both used this exclusively since.

I have scaring alopecia and this product will not work for the area that is completely void of hair. It does however stick to the hair follicle and make it appear fuller. The scared spots will not cover, it just doesn't stick to skin.

I bought this in June but was still using the one I had. I opened this morning only to find the bottle was virtually empty ….. this is unacceptable and I am furious….. this is a pricey item !

Love, love, love this product! My hair grows too fast for me to keep up with my hair color. I was dying my hair every 2-3 weeks! I tried the mascara-like products, the temporary creams, the powders, other sprays... the list goes on and on, I tried them all. But this worked for me from the first use. It covers the gray and works kind of like hair spray. It will wash off when you wash your hair without any messes. Thanks to this concealer, I can make my color appointments last every 4-6 weeks!
