I was expecting much more from this product and was pretty dissatisfied. I understand that it is all natural and is made with beets for flavoring (hence the beet flakes in your drink), but it was unbearable. This is coming from a person who loves all types of odd food, and my favorite snack is fresh pomegranates, but this was just gross. I took the labels suggestion and added to it for flavoring, and even fruit juice did not mask the taste. I chugged the whole drink though to see if I noticed any difference in energy, and honesty I felt a little more energized, but with everything else out there for energy on the market this is not for me.

The taste is terrible

I was excited to try this. I made this as a drink & it doesn't taste very good. Kind of bitter, but since there aren't any sweeteners added, it was to be expected. It did separate quite quickly. Then I decided to mix it in with my breakfast fruit smoothie. I added one scoop & didn't taste it at all. I tried two scoops the next morning & wasn't pleased. It was all I could taste. Plus side, it did help me stay fuller for a longer time. I also felt a nice little energy boost.

Love epic energy, it is simple to mix with water and tastes a bit like fruit! The powder is easily added to my drinks to create a flavorful and energetic alternative to sugary beverages. This is all natural, no nasty chemical ingredients or artificial coloring.The pinkish powder is easy to stir in and dissolves fairly quickly in about 8 ounces of water. It does not have a chalky taste like many other protein drinks tend to. After awhile if you leave the drink sitting, the color does tend to separate from the water, but it stirs back together quite easily.This drink is great for any time of day, as it gives a healthy boost of energy. This will not make you feel jittery, and will not result in a crash like other energy boosters do. Great flavor, not too sweet. It tastes even better added to smoothies. I tried this in water and juice. The powder didn't dissolve completely in either and the taste was not good. It did give me energy without any jitters. I would still use it in a smoothie but, I would prefer a product that could also be mixed with water or juice.

I've tried several different versions of energy drinks and this one is not one of my favorites, I just can't get past the taste. It tastes a little grainy, definitely doesn't taste good just mixed with water. I may try to mix with other liquids and see if that makes a difference but this is an item I probably won't be purchasing again.

I've never been much of a fan of meal replacement mixes because I have always felt like they tasted chalky. I always have a smoothie in the morning for breakfast so I figured why not just add this to it and YUMMY! What a great flavor it had!So far I have had sustained energy all day which is HUGE being a stay at home mom of TWINS!I like the flavor, and love the quality ingredients! Give it a try! I thought this tasted great with orange juice and so far I feel a bit better with a bit more energy. Anxious to use this for a few days to get a real idea how good it is but so far I'm fully satisfied!
