I bought this in anticipation of receiving a new canon camera. I used it in my cannon R and it lasted very well even shooting via live screen. I will definitely purchase another as Canons original battery is well over £100.

Work flawlessly in my r5mk2

It's fair to say this battery has come in handy with my R6 II setup. I like the colour, and the fact it does everything you expect. That being said, capacity / battery life-wise it feels a little underwhelming. It does, however, offer value for money and the ability to charge it directly via the USB-C output is a nice feature that helps streamline on-the-go charging. Would recommend as a backup, for sure.

This battery fits the camera and worked well in my Canon R6 Mk iii, however, when I change the lens the camera shuts down completely and will not work unless this battery is ejected and replaced back into the camera. When I use the original Canon battery, everything is fine. Clearly this battery isn't fully decoded for this camera.

Given 4stars only because I'm using these in an R5 mki and R6 Mkii so don't know how they stand up for use in the cameras that have to have the uprated battery like the R5 Mkii.

Works perfectly in R6ii, only thing it could improve on is the underside having an indicator colour for empty/charged

Good battery for the price. Easy to charge. Hard to loose because of the color. Less powerful than original battery.

I got two of the SMALLRIG LP-E6P Battery, tried them for a few times in recent trips. I am very pleased with the performance of the battery -- I can shot about 700 photos + 2 videos (~0.5 minutes each) with one battery in my Canon R5 camera. The direct charge with USB inlet is very useful -- Charging the battery while driving in the car's power outlet or with a power bank in backpack is very convenient. I cannot tell the difference in performance between Canon's original battery vs. this one, but the price the SMALLRIG LP-E6P is only half of Canon's battery.

Che dire? Una batteria di ultima generazione perfettamente compatibile con le originali, a 1/3 del prezzo. Non ho avuto ancora modo di testarle a fondo (ne ho prese due), ma in precedenza ne avevo acquistata un’altra della stessa marca, sia pure della generazione precedente, con ottima riuscita, perciò sono fiducioso.

Je suis très satisfait du choix de cette batterie. Aucun problème de compatibilité avec un Canon R5 MarkII. Recharge rapide par prise USB-C autant que par le chargeur Canon d'origine. Autonomie au moins aussi bonne que la batterie d'origine, mais je ne me prononce pas sur sa durée de vie, car je viens de l'acquérir. Une version de couleur bleue existe aussi au même prix, ce qui permet de bien les identifier sur le terrain.
