Very easy to use, has a light transparency with a lovely sparkly sheen when the sun shines in. Does not affect the light in the room but offers privacy. Excellent product and price top marks!

I have public foot paths on 3 sides of the house and have previously used blinds for privacy. They were OK for day time but useless on an evening when I had the light on indoors. The blinds went mouldy with condensation so needed to be replaced I looked at several window films and selected this one because it only has narrow clear lines and offers the best privacy, I also really like how it sparkles when the light hits the frosted lines. The film itself is good quality and easy to install, I measured and cut each piece 1mm smaller than the width of the glass, it shouldn't over run on to the black seal around the glass or it won't stick properly. Smaller windows are much easier to fit the film, if you have any bubbles peel it back and spray over with more water. I used a soft squeegee to smooth it over then wipe down with a damp cloth The rooms are much brighter now compared to the blinds I had, and it offers better privacy even with lights on indoors. You do loose your view, I can see people walking past and cars, but not clearly out into open space so I kept one blind, film fitted on all other windows including a large bay window, it looks good from inside and outside Any negative reviews here I can only assume are user error, either from not removing the backing plastic after cutting the piece, trying to stick the wrong side of the film to the window, not using enough water, or cutting the film too big so it overlapped onto the black window seal. One side of the film is smooth, one side you can feel the texture, the smooth side is the static side which goes against the glass Would buy again and recommend for privacy

This was easy to put up and looks great. My only niggle is that the stickers used for separating the back were not that great.

I got this to replace an old night & day blind that I had on the back of my side door. This had seen better days & also where it stuck out it meant I couldn't fully open the door which was a bit annoying. This privacy film seemed like a good alternative as it looks a bit like a blind in terms of the design & the colour of it. I was also attracted by the fact that it blocks out UV rays so should help to reduce heat build up & any damage to my floor from the sun pitching in. Ordered the 60cm width by 200cm length which was best suited to the size of the glazing I was covering on my door. I realised that the stripes on this were vertical which I was fine with on the door. If i had wanted them to be horizontal I'd have had to order the 90cm by 200cm which would have been less economic. As I'd had some problems with something similar in the past I wanted to minimise the out lay here just in case. I needn't have worried as the installation here was much easier than my previous experience as I knew to cut it to size before putting it up as previously I had ended up tearing the film when trying to cut it in place. This one was much thicker though & others have been able to cut it in situ that way. I just used some basic scissors & slid these through the film to achieve a reasonably straight edge. With it having the vertical stripes this made that easier in the longest direction. I had to have a couple of goes at getting the backing off, even with the tapes they supply, but once I got is started it peeled of easily & you present the smooth side to the window. It went up a treat after cleaning the window & then making sure it was wet with a mix of water & baby shampoo, then using a soft squeegee that I already had to get the bubble out. It stuck really well & dried out fine so very happy with the result & the sparkly colour looks good in the sunlight. Also you can see much at night with the light on unlike the mirrored ones that can do the opposite if they have a mirrored finish. You can still look out through the clear bits, but the view is slightly blurry as it is like looking though a clear tape. Overall a good quality thickish film that is easy to install & looks good & does the job for privacy.

Delighted with this film. It is so easy to apply and looks stunning. It allows light in but gives privacy at the same time. People walking past my window are just a blur and they don't even glance at my windows now. The textured finish looks expensive. I am so delighted with it, I think I may be buying more to do my bedroom windows. Highly recommend !!

Quick and easy to install: Clean the windows and buff them dry with a cloth. Cut the film with scissors to roughly the size of the pane its okay if its a bit bigger. Lighty spray the window with water mixed with a tiny single drop of washing up liquid, peel off the backing and apply the film to the window. Use an old discount/oyster card etc wrapped in a cloth to start smoothing the film outwards towards the edge to remove any lumps and bobbles. Carefully use a ruler or something similar and a hobby craft knife (mine was like £2) to cut off the excess film. Do not use a hardened steel knife etc as it can scratch the window! For the next day or so just keep smoothing out the bumps/water ro the edge of the window. I hope this helps! As for the film, its good quality and much better than a cheaper one we used, has larger gaps that offers privacy but let's in just enough daylight. Now my mum wants me to install it on her windows!

Brilliant product. I have been looking to get rid of my net curtain that was in my kitchen window for a long time and finally found these vinyls! They look sophisticated whilst keeping the natural light coming into the kitchen. There is also a slight glitter to them so they also look nice from the inside. I did have to buy two different sizes to fit one window so beware, you will just have to make sure you measure all panes of glass that you wish to fit them on. I did also have to do some trimming on the edges as there was some excess vinyl. Ease of use: I found them very easy to install on my windows. The key is to make sure you wet the vinyl and the window a lot, and you’ll be able to move them about to ensure they are straight. The stickers that came provided I didn’t use as didn’t think it was necessary, the back of the vinyl was easily removed using my fingernail. Getting the water out was easily done using a credit card wrapped in a cloth and then gently working over the bubbles and pushing them to the outside. Cutting the vinyl to fit the window was very easy. I just butted a ruler against the film and window edge and then cut with a craft knife. Overall very pleased with the product and would definitely recommend. After putting them up I am sure they will last a long time and give my kitchen a much neater look than the net curtain ever did!

This item is vertical strips not horizontal as the pictures show To put on a glass door you would need to cut a few separate strips which then just look messy It also bubbles really easily and they are hard to get out

Muy fáciles de poner. Deja pasar mucha luz e impide la visibilidad desde fuera. Muy práctico si no quieres poner persianas o cortinas

ik heb Lifetree Raamfolie, voor privacy, decoratief, glinsterend, zelfklevend, statisch, voor kantoor en thuis, 44,5 x 200 cm val er af na een tijd , plak, niet goed , geen aanrader en je kan het niet terug doen omdat je aan in maat geknipt heb

Eine gute Idee um Fenster etwas blickdichter zu machen vor dem Blicken anderer und trotzdem noch angenehm rausschauen zu können. Auftragen geht relativ einfach, alle Blasen habe ich nicht rausbekommen, aber es stört nicht

Ich habe zwei verschiedene Folien gekauft und angebracht von Lifetree und Dowell. Beide Made in China, beide wohl aus Vinyl. Ich denke Material und Produktionsland sind bei allen Amazon Folien wahrscheinlich gleich. Wenn man genau vorher zuschneidet, sind alle Folien leicht anzubringrn, sind korrigierbar und haften sehr gut. Die Anleitung ist wichtig, besinders 3 Dinge: 1. Genaues Zuschneiden: Ich empfehle Teppichmesser/Cutter, Metall-Lineal und Schneidunterlage mit cm Einteilung 2. Anbringen: Fenster muss sauber sein, Folie UND Fenster richtig nassgesprüht werden, dann kann die Folie leicht korrigieren/verschieben. 3. Andrücken Ich empfehle einen Teigschaber aus Platik oder ähnliches. Immer aus der Mitte heraus arbeiten.

De folie heb ik gebruikt aan m'n balkondeur tegen inkijk. Is zeker een mooie folie. Wel erg jammer van die plooi die wij tijdens het aanbrengen hebben ontdekt. Is niet aan de buitenkant van de rol zichtbaar. Deze blijft niet mooi plakken omdat er lucht eronder blijft zitten. En je kan dit allemaal niet retourneren.
