Faber-Castell Castell 9000 Graphite Pencil - 5B

These are the works I've done using the material. Best pencils for smooth realistic blending. 8B is the highest and it's not as dark as brands like cretacolor, but the precision & quality of material is good. Lead is of fine quality. And 2H, H and F are good in its outline phase.It's not a good choice for rough realism, where you get into deeper combination of highlights and shadows, but it's quite good for smooth realism and neat portrait drawings.Works really well with Hot pressed drawing paper of 200+ GSM and also the 130+ GSM drawing book sheets.Hexagonal shape is of fine grip and good for holding. And it's better to buy a pencil extender along with it. (The one shown in first picture).The packaging was good for the one I received (I've bought it twice), but the product is useless if someone drop it. So make sure the package you receive have enough bubble wrap or other essential packaging means.There are lots of pencil sets in the market, but this one has a good metal box and better quality.Not to be confused with Faber Castell Black matte, that is available at around ₹60 for 6 pencils.And if you want a video review on the product, check out instagram & youtube channel - iAmaljith.

Smooth pencils.. the quality of this pencils are too 😊 good..

It is a very well built pencil, and the varnish quality and gold-stamping quality is very good (it does fade after time). The pencils were purchased at a reasonable price, and not necessarily at the current price shown. The pencils are made in Germany (It says so on one side of the pencils). The lead won't break easily if you drop it (SV bonding process). Quality-wise this pencil seems to be on par with the Staedtler Mars Lumograph. The B pencil writes more like an HB, but the graphite core is quite strong. Four stars because it's quite expensive compared to Apsara pencils which do the same job almost equally well (although varnish quality is not up to the mark).

This pencils deserves 5 star. The wood quality is very nice and the darkness of pencils are pretty good

The media could not be loaded.  They're soft, easy to blend and good quality, must add to your collection 👍🏻

This pencils is very good for sketch and I had not used any premium pencil like this and it's softness is also good and we can draw realistic sketches but while sharping there is so hardness at the tip of pencil I it's tip is breaking some time but it's good pencil and I liked it's so much it's my favorite pencil ✍️

While searching for a pencil for drawing I found this one, instead of buying all of them I decided to just buy one and is so smooth precise you can reach different values that probably I would buy other ones.

These pencils are my absolute go-to when I want to do a graphite drawing. They’re an artist’s dream pencils, just perfect. They’re so smooth and really great at sharpening to fine tip, just make sure you use a professional sharper. Each of the color of the shades is very accurate. The blending they do is buttery smooth. These pencils will give you a great performance when creating artwork. I find these a great value for money. Faber Castell does not play with their graphite pencils! 100% recommend.

These pencils are so nice I can’t say enuf about them , the quality is spot on I’m very impressed with them the case is tin not plastic very nice touch , with out a doubt I’ll order again . Shipped and received on time
