Magical Singing Bathmat That Gets You to Work On Time
This thing is so easy to setup. The alarm clock comes with an instruction sheet. The instructions were clearly written by a non-native English speaker. So, yes, there are grammar problems. But it's easy enough to figure out. (see pics) Just pretend you're reading something written by your kid, then calmly the push buttons.Customizing the alarm tone is easy too. There were no instructions for this part, but it's pretty intuitive. The mat comes with a micro-USB cable (that's the kind often used in older Android phones) to plug into your computer. The provided cable didn't work for me, but I had plenty sitting around my home and office to charge other devices. Once connected, the computer will read the mat like a USB drive. On my MacBook, the device popped up on the desktop with the title "NO NAME." On a PC, I assume it would appear in Windows File Explorer. Then it's a simple drag-&-drop to use your favorite music as an alarm tone. I use Zedge to download free ringtones and alarm tones. After a few minutes of searching the site and copy/pasting mp3 files, I now have a magical singing bathmat that wakes me up at 5:00am every weekday with Madonna's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."

Works but not for me
It’s a cool alarm clock but it certainly doesn’t help me. I have it placed on the opposite side of my bed so I have to get up, walk around, and stand on the mat for a few seconds to get it to stop. This whole process is longer than the recommended “3 seconds and you’re up for good.” But I find myself crawling back into bed and falling right back to sleep.I give it 3 stars because it DOES work. It just doesn’t work for me.Set up was also a little confusing when it came to the days of the week. The instructions tell you which day is 1-7, but when receiving the mat how was I suppose to know that it already knew what today was to begin with? Logic says that you would have to set the day as well as the time so it knew tomorrow was day 2 or whatever. I didn’t get any answers so I just set it to the next day and hoped for the best. Somehow it knew. And somehow every time I turn it off for a few days, it still knows what day tomorrow is. Smart clock!

Horrible quality
I loved the idea of the alarm. I saw it on shark tank years ago and thought it was genius. It's application was terrible, though. Not sure how, but it somehow worked despite the batteries being taken out. Yet, that was the only time it worked. All around was just a bad product. Roommates and I used it as a bathmat before deciding it wasn't even great for that.

NOT WORTH THE $ NOT USER FRIENDLY JUST DOWNLOAD A FREE APP INSTEAD
Not at all user friendly, the price of the product compared to what you actually receive is not worth it. I’m 5’2 and a 6.5 in women’s shoes, my feet barely fit on this thing, their cheapest small size. Which is still $40 w/o tax+s/h. This is a good idea in theory. But your better off just buying a really loud alarm clock and placing it far away from your bed. Or even better, download a heavy sleeper alarm app to your phone like I did. It works. I have to be up at 5 AM and I’m not a morning person. This tiny bath mat did not even go off. SUPER CHEAP NOT WORTH IT, KEEP YOUR $ and download a free app.

Wakes you up, and that’s what you need if you’re looking at this item
This alarm works great to wake me up. The good: it’s plenty big. Even though it’s a size small, it fits my size 14 feet and they have room to grow. I put it beteeen my bed and the closet, it doesn’t look out of place, if I didn’t know and saw it at another’s house, I would think it’s a small mat to warm my feet in the morning. The sound level is loud enough to wake me every time. And it won’t turn off till I get up out of bedThe bad: there’s no snooze. If I jump back in bed, I’m not getting out a second time. The battery cover broke after 2 days and it’s being held in by tape. It’s the one cheap feeling part.

Changed my life
I have always had a struggle of waking up in the morning. I've tried light alarms, moving alarms, super loud alarms, putting alarms across the room, pretty much everything. This is the only thing that has been effective at getting me out of bed and staying out of bed. The design is genius and it makes you fully get up, like standing up not rolling out of bed. I was a little hesitant to buy this product, as some reviews stated it was hard to set up. However, I am not good with technology at all, and set it up in less than 5 minutes. The instructions were clear and simple, and it even lets you change the volume, which gets really loud for heavy sleepers, but quiet for early birds like me who don't want to wake their sleeping household. Not only could the volume change, but it comes with a USB port, so you can add your own song or sound to wake you up (the sound given is extremely annoying in my opinion and I'm so relieved I could change it). Keep in mind though that it requires 3 AAA batteries to work.

Doesn't work
When I got this as a gift it came with no instructions on how to use/set up. So my Christmas gift from Dec 2018 HASN'T BEEN USED!When it does go off it is loud (thats a good thing) but doesn't always turn off. Trial and error trying to get it to work.

Does get me out off bed but not user friendly
I’m an extremely heavy sleeper. I have to change my alarm tones constantly or my subconscious says “just hit the snooze button”. Whereas this matt does help me get out of bed it’s a pain to set time and music so I only use it for my 5am gym wakeups. The alarm sounds for 5 mins then snoozes itself, yes I’ve slept through it as well, for 10 mins then sounds again. Once you stand on the matt it’s off for good, so I put it far enough from the bed as to not be tempted to crawl back under the sheets. The sound is fairly loud, enough to wake me.
