Awesome!
One of Hino's most well known works besides Panorama of Hell, Hell Baby is a tragic story about a deformed twin that is rejected at birth. This story is very sad, but also very dark. I would recommend it to those that love horror manga

Hellishly Wonderful
It was delivered quickly, and in perfect condition, and I've already read and re-read it at least four times. I read his "Panorama of Hell" comic online and was hooked. A wonderful author. I love his gorey scenes >:]

All the Hino you want
In this standalone tale from Hideshi Hino, you see an abandoned twin left to die in a garbage dump, unwanted by her family and ostracized from all civilization. Hell Baby is without speech for the entire book, though this is one of the better devices this story uses. Throughout the shriek!'s you come to feel for this character of circumstance -- this HELL BABY -- and Hino's sympathetic side appears between a mad picture of grotesque imagery and sharp allegory. Some may be turned off from this story for its blood and gore, but underneath this Graveyard of Horror is a quirky and fine-tuned story of redemption and even forgiveness. Recommended.

Devoured in one sitting
This manga is worth owning. It is both sick and touching at the same time. The author is able to make us feel sympathy for a cannibal. I wish that more horror manga like this one was being published.

Hell Baby
I don't read manga that often as I'm not a fan of the generic modern art style. I'll devour a good one when it reaches my hands though, and that's what happened when I found Hell Baby. This is my second book from Hino, my first Bug Boy, both about outcasts in their own ways. I found myself feeling for poor Hell Baby as she attempted to find her way in "Life." I later showed this to my girlfriend, and she felt the same way. You want this book to end happily, yet you know half way through there is no way she could ever been taken as an ordinary girl in society. The end breaks my heart every time, but perhaps I'm to much of a softy when I read these things. Either way, I think if you've got the money to spend and you're a fan of horror manga there's plenty worse you could spend it on. The only complaint here is one that isn't my own, my girlfriend noted the writing here is not nearly as good as Junji Ito. While Hino writes simplistically though, there is beauty to that so each hold their own weight in my book.So as I said before, grab this and take an unexpected ride on the emotional rollercoaster.Likewise, if you're as picky as me check out Junji Ito as a mangaka and Ayakashi/Mononoke as an anime if you've not heard of them yet.

Hell Baby
Overall, I enjoyed Hell Baby. I finished it in one sitting. I thought it was an interesting manga but it could have been better. I felt that it was really short and that there could have been more to it. I did feel bad for Hell Baby and grew somewhat attached to her. Would I recommend it? Sure. If you're in the mood for a short horror manga.

Turned me onto Manga
Nasty, disgusting, vile, and gross ... I loved it. Just glanced at it in the bookstore one day. Hell Baby was eating I think another baby. It was truly disturbing and launched me into reading manga. It's not for the weak and puny of guts. So laugh, cry and watch as children die.
