The dusk-to-dawn sensor works perfectly — it turns on automatically in the evening and shuts off in the morning so I don’t have to think about it. This attractive dawn to dusk porch lamp arrived today and I managed to remove the old lamp and install this in less than 15 minutes.. it fit into the old fixture without any adjustment needed. It has a self test where it comes on in daytime light for a few seconds they turns off. Alternatively, you can cover the sensor and it will come on. The instructions were brief and clear but I did not need them. Because it’s a dawn to dusk light, there is no motion detection. Also, It’s not dimmable which is normal and seems to be very well made. I strongly recommend an led type bulb to prevent this getting hot which might affect the sensor I strongly recommend this if you need this type and style of porch light. A real bargain at the price!

This was super easy to install,worked great until the dusk to dawn sensor went bad. (Just ordered a replacement light). Looks good, finish still looks new and sensor worked great for the last almost 2 years.
