Je suis très épatée par cet appareil photo. La batterie tient vraiment longtemps, ce qui est parfait pour les enfants, et la qualité des photos est très correcte pour un appareil destiné aux plus jeunes. L’écran est clair, simple à utiliser, et l’objectif pivotant est un vrai plus pour qu’ils puissent se prendre en photo facilement. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Tellement satisfaite que j’en ai acheté un pour chacun de mes neveux et nièces, et à chaque fois le succès est au rendez-vous. Mon fils l’adore et s’en sert très régulièrement.

Status 18.06.2024: nachdem ich den Kundenservice kontaktiert habe, hat sich nach 24h ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter gemeldet und per express eine neue Kamera geschickt. Diese ist heute angekommen und unser Sohn ist sehr glücklich! Leider ist der Display voller Streifen, so ist die Kamera nicht zu gebrauchen. Wenn ich sie reklamieren möchte, muss ich sie selbst frankieren und nach GB senden. Ich hätte gerne einfach eine Kamera die funktioniert.

I'm actually more interested in the technology of producing a digital camera product for this price range that has this resolution, a battery, an SD card reader/writer with card, a USB port, and a viewer. In the early 2000s, Computational imaging (initially called computational photography) became a new emerging scientific area of exploration. One branch of it involves taking photos from many angles, such as with many different cameras at the same time. The accessibility of that field of research depends a lot of how low can the cheapest price be for a functional camera that's adequately suitable. The SAME THINGS that make this a great choice of a camera for a kid also make it a very interesting example of a functional digital camera potentially suitable for using very, very many of them together at the same time. I've found that with connecting an external battery and getting the settings just right, you can continuously record video for about 8 or 10 hours straight onto the SD. The continuous video is always automatically split up into a series of consecutive 3 minute videos. That's extremely inconvenient for transferring the video to a computer and performing scientific analysis on it, but I suppose it's probably a necessity of the extremely low cost. I'm sure it's fine for kids to use. I'm happily surprised with the overall functionality of the camera, and the quality of photos and video, even in low light. The menus are an interesting compromise for few buttons, a small screen, and a low price point. I recommend going over it again and again and trying all the different things to get a feel for how it works. I think when you get used to it, it's totally fine.
