Super excited about these panels. they are thick and true to dimensions. The wood needs to be put in an area that won't get wet, as it will swell - my recommendation would be to put on top of a baseboard. The felt backing is thick and provides great sound proofing. The overall thickness of the felt and wood slats is 5/8". It is not flimsy like a pole wrap, it is an actual slat wall. If you have to cut the wood, it is a little tricky, but cutting the felt is easy with an exacto knife. Pricing is fair considering the size of the panels - there were 2 panels in each pack. We used this on the back side of a kitchen island and it looks great! I'll add pictures once it's all finished out. The walnut color was a little lighter than expected, but i was able to darken it up with some gel stain. Great product!

Thin veneer, pressboard and felt backing. I can’t compare to more costly versions of the same thing but for the price I guess they’re ok

So I unknowingly own a single set of these acoustic panels in a different color. These are more less the same just in a different color! Thanks to that, the function the same, the quality is the same and the look is obviously the same outside of color. Basically, once you get these installed they really do a good job absorbing the reverbs. The quality is decent, both the foam and wood are nicely cut and well put together. The aesthetic adds a nice layer of coziness to the room. Setting this up is fairly easy but you're gonna need to provide your own hardware unfortunately. Even then, once you get it all attached to the wall, you're set! Having two extra of these made an even bigger difference. Also the single set I bought almost cost as much as this one so I for sure suggest you getting this 2 pack! Its a good price and all ya need is your own set of screws or nails.
