Very good indeed
I really liked this. The instructions are in very small type and poorly laid out. Some of the translations into English are a bit comedy. But it's a smart, easy to use, compact device. The electronic screen is very easy to read and has several different formats you can scroll through and pick a favourite from.. It measures PI and Temp as well as Oxygen and Pulse and shows your heart beat in graph form. It shuts down very quickly after you stop using it which saves battery. It comes with a clip and lanyard. It arrived on time. There is a QR code for an instruction video and two different service email addresses. It arrived on time. It *doesn't* come with batteries. 2 x AAA. I'd buy again and recommend.

Difficulties of choosing a pulse oximeter
I looked at a lot of these carefully before choosing one. Accurately measuring oxygen saturation in a few seconds by sending pulses of light through the skin is actually difficult. Some do it well, others don't. On top of that, buying stuff from China (as all these are) is always risky and the Chinese usually fake hundreds of positive reviews. I chose this one because it has the full range of functions including PI (perfusion Index) which isn't particularly important of itself but suggest it uses more advanced algorithms. More importantly it measures with PI as low as 0.1% (or so it claims) and if true this definitely indicates a good algorithm as a low PI normally means you can't get a proper reading. Finally it gives a graphical read out which they correctly refer to as a plethysmograph, and I take it as a good sign that they actually know this word and know how to spell it, unlike the other listings (though their English is dreadful.) Having tried the device, it seems to work, though the build is horribly cheap and flimsy for something of this price.

Accessible price for a nice product
Bought for home use. The instructions can be a bit misleading but common sense prevails. I cannot judge the accuracy except for pulse rate where it matches my sphygmomanometer. However the saturation readings are plausible and can be varied by forced breathing so I have no reason to doubt them. It is easy to use and easy to read although the readings are not stored and can only be seen while the device is on a finger. Once removed it shuts down quite quickly, much less than the 8 seconds in the instructions, but obviously good for battery life. I like this device and I hope it has reasonable service life.

Just incase...
I purchased this product on behalf of my Father to monitor his Oxygen and Heart levels due to ongoing medical conditions, it has been a massive help and highly recommended by other people we spoke with at the Hospital. In times of any uncertainty, we can use this device to rule out any serious health issues which allows utilising the 101 service more effectively and of course can save time, worries and stress. Very handy piece of kit to have to not cause any extensive panicking, if that makes sense.

If you need a decent spo2 get this, by far the best one I've used as a healthcare professional...
I bought this for work to monitor my O2 Sats and to also use for work... I have used many sats probes over the yrs, I was intrigued to buy this for the temperature readings as well, I wish that there was some way of buying more of the temperature connectors or a more built in version of this... I have found this reader to be the best I have used so far, in comparison to others I've used over the years in multiple clinical environments I can trust the readings provided by this device... When a patient is cold and otherwise closed down,I have managed to still get a reading and compared it at the same time with others at the same time... Result is my colleagues bought the same device... For personal use, I used when I underwent chemotherapy and when I got covid between the first and second wave and woke after being on a ventilator, I used this at home before my emergency admission and when I returned home, I developed significant life changing side effects from long covid, my heart rate can abruptly be irregular, my BP goes extremely low or high, I have fluctuations in my oxygen never smoked a day in my life and my glucose levels are affected... I also have trouble maintaining my body temperature... But I am alive and have returned to work with a lot of supported assistance so I can still do the job I love... I would high recomend this device, yes there are cheaper ones on the market but from someone whose worked in respiratory ITU, A&E, community, hospice for over 25 yrs, this is exactly what I'd recomend... I was pleasantly taken back by the fact I got readings on this when other devices I had been using could not make a recording and when they did the results were completely off...

Useless as a thermometer
Looking for a combined pulse oximeter and thermometer, was pleased to discover what appeared to be the only solution on the market. However… The thermometer is a wire with a probe on the end that you stick on your body (with a cheap “reusable” sticker - won’t last more than 2 uses), leave in place for several MINUTES and then plug into the unit. After all that messing around, the reading is inaccurate. Disappointed overall with quality and described functionality.

I’m impressed with this pulse oximeter. My father uses oxygen and checks his fingers throughout the day, but because he has poor circulation he has a hard time getting readings on other models. However, this brand seems to work even with cold fingers. It’s pretty accurate readings when comparing to other models, even the hospitals. I highly recommend!
