This is something that I bought with lots of hope. But I was not able to make the most of it. It just broke into 2 pieces within 2 months of use. I would not suggest this product to anyone.Updated on 10/06/2016 - After this comment was posted, I received a call from the Seller. They actually apologized for this issue and explained as to why it was broken. Also they agreed to replace the cutting board with a new one. This gesture was really appreciable. And was completely unexpected. It was due to the weather conditions in our place that the board was kind of bending and breaking. The new board is a revised one with a better pasting technique. And more over its a natural product. So the new board is a good one. And everyone can use it.

The product I received is that exactly the one displayed in picture.It has 3 joints and I am not sure this product will last for a year .I was expecting a single piece of wood :(

Much tinier than expected but quality n finishing is good...

Its not a single wood board. Its a joint of 3 wooden stripes. There is no mention in the description of the board. Some chemical polish is there on it. Looks shiny and thick, the wood is also sounds hard but I doubt on its durability since it is not a one peace board. There is some kind of adhesive between the wooden stripes. There is no lifetime guarantee or warranty against this board. If they provide it, the board may be purchased. It is the tendency of hard woods to expand or shrink according to the moisture in the air, so one piece wooden board is a right choice when it comes to Wooden cutting board. Teak wood board is the best option and I am going to by it, though it is a bit costly around 2 or 3 hundred rupees more than that maple wood board but it deserves.

Good Product

Its solidly built and wood is hopefully of good quality (too early to tell). But that's it.The wooden surface is coated in some kind of warnish/solution, which has made the surface very smooth and slippery like a wooden door. This is not good for the knife blade and also cutting & chopping experience is not good. Chopping boards should have a good texture so that the knife lands properly on the board and the blade can be used to drag and put veggies aside. This is very unpleasant to do on this board.Finally, the board is made of three pieces of wood joined together (not layers, but side-by-side). I'm not sure how long it will lastMy suggestion to buyers is to buy a board from a physical store. Hold it in hand, feel the weight and texture, consider the size and then buy.

Looks too shiny and novel in the beginning. Slightly slippery due to the finish and the lack of weight. But it grows on you after a while and it starts to feel good.

It's 3 pieces glued together, not 1 solid piece. Probably just a matter of time before repeated exposure to moisture causes the glue to wear off, which is exactly what happened to my bamboo board.I bought this only because it appeared to be 1 solid piece of wood. Photos are misleading.
