Mele and Co Davin Men’s Dresser Valet Wooden Jewelry Box

A wonderful little valet box, looks smooth and beautiful sitting on your dresser and will keep your jewelry and pocket contents safe with a nice linen-finished interior. On the outside it has a little dip to put coins and slots on the back for your phone/wallet/etc.; the top cabinet has a set of ring rolls (I only have my class ring in there but it doesn't seem like it can fit more than four, maybe six if they're smaller bands), a small compartment where I keep spare change and a flash drive and the main compartment where I can fit my pocket watch, a few pens and a metal wrist watch. The bottom drawer has plenty of space for a few watches/chains/random jewelry. Great little box, looks manly dignified, yet not too ostentatious, great for the price.

I really like this self purchase!!! Something I needed for awhile since I'm geared toward organization. I don't own a lot of jewelry but the pieces I do own are sentimental to me. The box is very well made and handsomely designed. A really, really nice piece for keeping, organizing, and protecting jewelry, and sentimental items. This box is just the right size for my needs and doesn't use too much space on table next to bed.

This valet is beautiful. I ordered it as a birthday gift for my boyfriend because he constantly leaves his "things" all over his house and then cannot find them when it is time to leave. He also has no decoration on his chest of drawers in his bedroom, so this worked well for that too. It is a beautiful color and seems to be very well made. The inner compartments are lined. My only issue is that none of the "inner compartments" are deep enough for his things. He would like to store handkerchiefs in the lower drawer, and it is too shallow to hold six. His watch does not lay completely flat (the band stays "round" when it is not being worn) and it will not fit in the covered compartment. The solution for us has been to store watches in the tray shown for change, and pocket knives in the covered compartment. The back slot has worked perfectly for phone, keys, and wallet. Over all, it has been a very good purchase. I'd give it 5 stars if each compartment were 0.5" deeper.

I bought this valet/men's jewelry box because I was tired of finding my husband's watches, wedding ring, braclet, walet, keys, change, passport etc. scattered throughout the house. I had a hard time finding one in the stores and the ones I did find were either not large enough, didn't have enough compartments, or cheap looking. This one is great. It has just enough space to keep all the little things that men use and carry around in one neat place. It is well made and astetically appealing. Now my husband contain his belongings in one convenient place and I don't have to go around collecting his items to put them away! ;)

This dresser top valet suits my purpose well, it's neat and compact. It appears to be of good quality and arrived undamaged and fully assembled. The description describes it as having a dark burlwood finish but that isn't the case, it's more like a reddish brown finish so be aware if that matters to you.

Bough this as a kind of welcome to growing up gift for our 14 yr old son. He loves it. Its sturdy and the drawer is perfect for the couple necklaces and little items he has. He stores all his important things in it and then also stores his deodorant and cologne in the spaces in the back. Was a great gift to give to a young teen so that he will have it for years to come

This was gift for adult son for his birthday. It will hold rings, neck chains and loose coins with ease. Compartments are deep and non skid. Helpful to have on top of dresser to hold valuables all in one area. He loved the gift and said he never knew he needed this until now that he has one he would not be without it.

First, despite the product description, this is NOT a travel accessory. It is solid and large, not something you would pack with you in a suitcase to travel. At any rate, I purchased it to sit on my dresser. The valet is surprisingly well made and the finish attractive. I've seen many that feel cheap with cheesy finish. This is NOT one of them. The top has split vertical storage compartments for a wallet or other items, as well a "scooped" area for change or "pocket items." A lift top reveals storage areas including a "ring roll." My only compliant is that the ring roll was not designed to hold male rings, which tend to be thicker then those worn by women. Nothing other than a thin band will fit. The drawer provides an open padded storage area. Unfortunately, the drawer is not tall enough to hold typical watches, which is how I would have liked to use this. All things considered, I'm very happy with the purchase. It arrived well packed and padded in both and inner and outer box in addition to the Amazon shipping box.
