I've been looking for a pair of comfortable black ankle boots for a while now. I have fairly big feet, as I take a size 6½-7, and they are a wide fit too. I erred on the side of caution and got an 8. Am so pleased I did. They fit perfectly and I am in love with them!! They are slightly ruched and look great with dresses or skirts. They are also mega comfy. More like wearing slippers than boots.They were a little more than I originally budgeted for, as they are just plain black boots, but I opted to spread the cost. Either way, they are definitely worth the investment if they are actually going to get worn due to not making my feet hurt like mad because they're far too narrow (like my Dune boots do).

The headline says it all really, they were a bit of a tight fit when first tried on and the zips were a bit difficult to fasten but the boots quickly stretched to fit, and the zips eased off.Very comfortable and would buy again.Highly recommended.

Sadly had to return them as even though they were wide fitting they were narrow around the ankles.

Gleich vorweg, dieser Schuh ist explizit für sehr breite Füße gemacht! Wer normale Schuhweite braucht, sollte sich nach hotter Schuhen ohne den Zusatz "EXF" umsehen.Zur Größe: bei normalen Damenschuhen, sowie bei meinen geliebten Vans Sneakers und auch bei Pantoletten ähnlich Birkenstock trage ich Größe 42, bei Herrentrekkingsandalen passt mir ab und an schonmal eine breite 41. Meine Fußlänge von Ferse zur großen Zehe sind 27cm. Insgesamt hab ich immer das Problem, dass mich ein Standardschuh am Zehenballen und am Spann drückt. Nicht so hier! Die EXF Whisper-Stiefelette passt mir hervorragend in Größe 41,5 - beim Kauf zu beachten gilt es, dass das Leder meiner Meinung nach recht stark nachgibt. Voriges Jahr habe ich mir ein ähnliches Modell (Ripon von Hotter, immer noch im Einsatz) in 42 gekauft, diese sind bequem, sitzen aber nach etlichen Tragestunden recht locker an meinem Fuß. So musste der nächste Schuh eine halbe Nummer kleiner her. Siehe da, nach anfänglichem, recht engem Anliegen an Zehenpartie und den Seiten sitzt er nun perfekt.Qualität: das Leder ist sehr weich, aber auch recht widerstandsfähig. Letzten Winter bin ich bei einem 3h Spaziergang unvorbereitet mit dem analogen Modell "Ripon" durch 15cm tiefen Schnee gewatet und meine Füße blieben sensationellerweise trocken! Die Sohlen rutschen trotz des recht geringen Profils erstaunlich wenig.Ich benutze meist eigene Einlegesohlen von aussortierten Turnschuhen, da ich mit diesen noch etwas mehr Isolation nach unten hin und höheren Komfort beim Gehen habe.Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! Danke Hotter, dank euch gibt es auch für mich passende Schuhe ohne Schmerzen an den Füßen!(Mein Geheimtipp: wer breite Füße hat, sollte sich nach britischen Schuhmarken umsehen!)Falls ich helfen konnte, würde ich mich über einen Klick auf den "nützlich"-Button freuen ;)

La única pega que les pondría es que la zona del tobillo es demasiado ancha para mí, por eso no le doy 5 estrellas. Pero le he comprado unos similares a mi madre por lo ligeros y cómodos que me han parecido. Además, estaban a mejor precio que en la web de la marca.
