Be aware this stuff is heavy, like much heavier oil than coconut oil is. I used this in the evening and even after shampooing my hair twice, I woke up with batana oil residue in my hair. The heaviness is part of why it is so moisturizing, but it's still something to keep in mind. I did a test for yall. I put the batana oil on the mids to ends of my hair on my left side only. I put coconut oil on the mids to ends of my right side only, to have something to compare it to. I left it in my hair for 30 mins. I dual-shampooed and conditioned. I took a pic the next morning. The side I'm pointing to is the side I used the batana oil on. You can see how it still looks greasy as compared to the right side. My recommendation is you using a clarifying shampoo, or possibly shampoo three times. Of course, this might differ based on your hair type. I have thick, coarse, wavy hair. So far since using this, I've noticed the waves in my hair are more defined and pretty.
