Irish Turf/Peat Incense and Burner

Love it. Reminds me of home

Bought this product for wife for Xmas. She tried it out. I'm sorry to say that the smell emitted was acrid and unpleasant. When I visited Ireland many times in the past, the smell of a turf fire was memorable and pleasant, and is not replicated by this product. Not impressed

Smells nice when burning but keeps going out . At least it will last longer

Really good this, only 6 pieces of peat so use sparingly. Burn for around half an hour but a really strong effect which is the whole point.

I had a Scottish peat burner many years ago. It was lovely to enjoy the fragrance in a warm room at home while winter ranged outside. Unfortunately the firm stopped making the gear. Spreading out I bought a very overpriced Irish peat candle which was nothing like the particular tang of the turf over there. Then, wanting to set a homely, couthy atmosphere for the Christmas meal at my place, I bought this wee peat burner kit. It was marvellous! Again the wee peat blocks were massively overpriced but so like ould Irish turf in fragrance. Supplies were exhausted in a fortnight and I will be shopping about for more competitively priced turf.

Not worth 13 quid at all. In fairness delivery was quick etc etc but this is tiny, the little house is just the packaging so don’t think that’s a lovely decorative little incense burner where the incense comes out of the chimney (I’ve seen these and thought this was one)…it isn’t, you basically get a little stone and a small block of peat that doesn’t smell much at all. Save your money and leave it

Received in good condition Thankyou, comes in small pieces but the smell is lovely
