So I bought it. He says it’s basic. A bit patched. It has good information, it’s just uh…not a “complete karate course” like it claims. Do I know Karate? No Does he? Yes, sorta. So I am giving the book 3 stars. Hope this review helps.

Dieses Buch ist ein Nachdruck des Buches " Mas Oyamas Essential Karate". Die Qualität der Bilder ist ausreichend, zuweilen doch etwas zu dunkel. Der Text und die Grafiken sind gut leserlich. Als Kata sind enthalten Taikyoku 1&3, Heian(?) 4&5 sowie Saiha. Meiner Kenntnis nach heißen die 5 Grundkata im Kyokushinkai Pinan und nicht Heian. Ein preiswertes Buch, mit dem man nichts verkehrt machen kann. Wer sich für alle Kata dieses Stils interessiert, sollte nach entsprechendem Material Ausschau halten.
