People use way too much detergent and that just ruins your machine and cause your clothes to get dirty faster. we split down the perforation of each sheet. That is for one full load. It does a great job of cleaning and what little scent it leaves is pleasant. You still need your regular stain removers for the odd time etc but as a basic laundry detergent these are great. During humidity you may want to put into a ziplock bag. They can get a wee bit tacky. We will get again for sure. Fits the dual purpose of keeping plastic out of the environment, as well offering a 'lighter' alternative for lifting. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't washed anything heavily soiled yet. Does a good job on everyday laundry.
