Twining and Twill Basket Weaving Kit

We bought this for our son to complete the weaving merit badge. It came with some great instructions and was the right degree of challenge/difficulty for our 16 year old. I now use it as my office waste basket. It is the perfect size, and has some great memories attached to it.

Not enough smoked reed was included to finish the project. Disappointed because I liked the overall look of the bakery.

The product arrived as expected and it contained more than enough supplies to complete the basket. It was an enjoyable project.

Pretty easy basket. Good instructions. Plenty of product.

The instructions are not clear at all. Especially for a beginner. The pictures are not clear, and the instructions leave you questioning many steps. There also is not enough reed to make the full basket. Disappointed as this is my first attempt at basket weaving.

The instructions were clear, however the base of the basket had imperfections and I was not able to complete the project because of it. This was a mistake to try to tackle this as first project

I made this taller than the kit specified to use as a waste paper basket & still had supplies left over. 13” tall. I may change the rim lashing to the 1”round reed (included) held together in one direction.
