I don't think there is any colourist in this world who will not love this book
I waited for this book for ages! First for the release and then for the delivery. And now it finally arrived at my doorstep! I don't think there is any colourist in this world who will not love this book. Firstly, it is a hardbound book. The cover is made up of a very thick cardboard. You really don't need a hard surface below the book for colouring. The pages are very thick, amazing quality. The paper is off white, and suits best for the kind of pictures Hanna has drawn. The pictures are just so lovely! So perfect, so realistic. They have been drawn out of imagination but you start feeling that they actually come out of the pages. I am going to buy a second copy of this as well as daydreams because I love both of them so much

Great. Love it.
My absolute favourite. I have two of the series and love painting in them. Hanna's illustrations are so good and the pages hold all kinds of medium. Must buy for all the artists. The price is perfect too.

It's an absolutely beautiful book that will keep you occupied for hours. There are a variety of illustrations inside, from portraits to nature that will test your coloring skills. Plenty of open background spaces for you to use your imagination on.The paper quality is thick with just enough tooth for color pencils!

Beautiful book
I'd seen a flip through of this book on YouTube and wasn't sure if It was completely to my liking, but i thought I'd get it anyway and see, and have to say how glad i am that i did, because I'm really enjoying colouring it in. The size is smaller than A4, and the paper is excellent quality, really quite thick, and smooth so you can use fibre tipped pens, and even watercolour paint if you don't saturate the page. My preference at the moment is faber castell polychromos pencils, Prismacolor , and caran dache pablos. The paper is a slight creamy colour, which i know some people don't like, but I'm not finding any problems with it at all. I've recently purchased another Hanna Karlson book, ' Magical Dawn' which is also lovely, but i prefer this one. I've included a few photos of some finished pages, hoping it will inspire you

Arrived at Last and Well worth the Wait
I've been colouring as a hobby for quite a while now and I came across Hanna Karlzon's first book, Dagdrommar (Daydreams) online and fell i love with her illustrations. At that point the book was only available in Sweden, so I went ahead and ordered it from there and was very happy with it.Not long afterwards, her second book, Summernights (Sommarnatt) became available to pre-order on Amazon, so I went ahead and ordered it. The release of the book was delayed a couple of times, but as I still had lots of pages to colour in her first book this wasn't a problem for me.Well, this week the book arrived and I can only say it was well worth the wait. It's produced to the same high standard as Dagrdrommar (dare I say it, maybe a little better as the paper has a slightly better tooth) and the illustrations are lovely. The paper is robust, and it would probably stand up to markers, though I tend to use coloured pencils in the main.Whilst Hanna Karlzon has a distinctive style, I don't find the pictures repetitive in any way and, thankfully for me at least, there are few, if any, pages left mainly blank for the buyer to fill in with doodles. The level of detail is just about right too - the drawings aren't as detailed as i some of the books I have, but nor are they too simplistic. It's great to send a few happy hours colouring away and have a finished image.I'd thoroughly recommend this bookI know that her third book is due to be launched soon and I'm looking forward to adding that one to my collection as well

Gorgeous
The media could not be loaded. Gorgeous colouring book.I got bored of my colouring books, they either seem to be similar in style, or the same type of pictures all the way through. This one isn't like those ones...This hardback cover colouring book, looks beautiful all by itself. Each page is filled with something different and something wonderful to colour. So many pictures get you inspired and excited to do them, it's hard to choose which one to start colouring! The pages are an off white colour. The pictures do go into the centre, that's probably the only downside but it is expected with the style book it is, so I don't mind that. The pages are each nice and thick, they can take a lot of layers. I like to use several colours in one spot. This took them quite well. Nothing goes through to the other side either.I would recommend this colouring book. It is absolutely beautiful, inspiring and definitely worth the price.

Summer Nights
My Wife has these books instead of knitting whilst we are on lock down ,she loves them ,the books are of a very high standard the art work is so good once you have coloured them they are good enough to be framed in fact my Wife says she is not going to do any more knitting she is going to carry on with the books ,so it looks like i am going to have to buy my woolly hats and jumpers from now on.Michael
