Much cheaper than dealership
Literally hundreds of dollars cheaper than dealership. Been on my wife’s 2013 qx56 for a few months now and had no issues. Strong cranking every time!***WARNING*** If you are going to do this job yourself, please research thoroughly. This starter is underneath the intake manifold and it is a couple of hour project. There are several good videos on youtube that will assist you.

Works Perfect!
This starter is new, not rebuilt, worked and fit perfectly. With the starter under the intake manifold, you do not want to have to replace again. Great starter at a great price. I am extremely happy!

Worked perfect on a 2016 qx 80 limited.
Fast shipping and a Perfect fit. The starter is under the manifold on a qx80. It’s a good 4 hour job to replace but a savings of 800-900 dollars if you decide to do it yourself. I’m sure some can do it quicker but for a first timer, I took my time not to drop anything. Theres only a couple PITA bolts. Plug or cover the intakes and have a good extendable magnet handy to pull the manifold bolts out and place them back in when you reinstall. It made the job a lot easier. All in all, if you turn wrenches you can do this job.

My experience
Only put in yesterday so I’ll review in a few months. I’m not a mechanic but didn’t want to take it in for a probable $800 or more price. Installation isn’t bad for most of it. I didn’t disconnect the fuel line like the YouTube videos suggested but just swung the manifold cover over to the side when I got to that part. Nv3500 so plenty of room in engine for that move. Hardest part were the bolt removal for starter. Get a 1/2 inch socket and heavy duty ratchet and to get leverage I moved to the right side of car, reached in to engine and was finally able to brake free the two bolts.(lots of wd40 too). They are really torqued on. Also, the 10 screws holding the manifold were a pain to remove but doable. If you are a novice like me, give yourself plenty of time. I’m pretty sure I could do it in 2 hours now but hopefully I’ll never have to again. :)Starter seems solid and connecting line was perfect length unlike some reviews for other starters. Overnight delivery was fantastic for my situation as starter was only getting worse. Also, I’m 6’3” and I needed all my length and a ladder to get to everything. I guess if you are shorter, you can crawl farther into the engine. Definitely worth saving $700.I used the trq video on YouTube for a titan if you are interested

Failed after 11 months
Starter failed after 11 months of use. No customer service or contact information available. Hassle free replacement is a lie.

I recommend this starter.
Product was delivered on time. Purchased the product after watching a video on starting issues on a 2011 infiniti qx56. First time removing a starter and replacing it.Day 3 after installation. It works like a champ.
