Jicama Seed ~ Sold by Seed King
These seeds took awhile to get (delayed USPS?) but the seeds, once received, look plump and viable, and the package contains a few more (6) than I actually purchased. It's important to get them into the ground as soon as possible because it takes a very long time to grow this root crop. What is not included on the listing is that the 'entire plant above ground is 'poisonous'', something very important to state when selling this seed - especially because there are lots of beginner gardeners who won't know that. Anyway, thank you Seed King for the healthy looking seed offerings.

Hit or miss
It was a hit or miss with this fruit. I believe some seeds were bad and some are good. Still waiting to grow. I do ha e a green thumb.

I’ve grown jicama from seas for years and these did not sprout.

All germinated very fast
So far every seed germinated very quickly, less than 5 days. After two weeks that all have tendrils looking for a place to climb. I did not have to pre soak them either.
