Yes, its magnetic but if you're clumsy like me, this really helps out. Has been on my tablet for 2 months now and has been pretty heavily used with no problems. I even took it off and repositioned it about a month and a half ago and it's still holding on. The loop has a small diameter. Will not fit novelty pens (think no.2 pencil diameter only). The stitching has the loop turn backward a bit so it doesn't lay flat, but you get used to it. All in all awesome buy. Going to get more to keep around the office. Review: Perfect for iPad Pro and Apple Pencil! - I have tried this on several places on my iPad Pro to hold the Apple Pencil. The pen-loop works great wherever I have tried (I've moved it around a few times and, while the adhesive is clearly meant to be more of a permanent type sticky than a repositionable one, the pen loop continues to hold very well despite multiple locations. This is the perfect size for Apple Pencil. And incidentally, after trying various locations on the keyboard cover and on the iPad itself, I have found the best spot is centered along the left/top short edge. In this place, the Pencil is out of the way when I don't need it, but handy when I do! ## Features - Pen loop - Self-adhesive - Strong elastic strap - For thin pencils or thick fountain pens. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009KJR71M | | Best Sellers Rank | #377,871 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #2,619 in Memo & Scratch Pads | | Brand | Leuchtturm | | Brand Name | Leuchtturm | | Color | Anthracite | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 491 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04004117394201 | | Item Weight | 9.07 g | | Manufacturer | LEUCHTTURM1917 | | Manufacturer Part Number | 342942 | | Material | Crayons | | Material Type | Crayons | | Model Number | 342942 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | manufacture | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Leuchtturm - **Color:** Anthracite - **Finish Type:** Unfinished - **Material:** Crayons - **Mounting Type:** Tabletop Mount - **Number of Compartments:** 1 - **Product Dimensions:** 0.5"D x 2"W x 2"H - **Shape:** Rectangular - **Special Feature:** Self-adhesive - **Specific Uses For Product:** Stationery ## Images ![LEUCHTTURM1917 342942 Pen Loop, Self-Adhesive, Anthracite - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Yc7YBhdIL.jpg) ![LEUCHTTURM1917 342942 Pen Loop, Self-Adhesive, Anthracite - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61wgA8wFN+L.jpg) ![LEUCHTTURM1917 342942 Pen Loop, Self-Adhesive, Anthracite - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/21QQPII0unL.jpg) ![LEUCHTTURM1917 342942 Pen Loop, Self-Adhesive, Anthracite - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61eVF4niHqL.jpg) ![LEUCHTTURM1917 342942 Pen Loop, Self-Adhesive, Anthracite - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61So2vpqPEL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nifty *by Q***S on February 7, 2019* I use this for my Samsung Tablet pen.
