The combination is going to be do just about the same but some cleaning / brightening power will have to be sacrificed for the combination. **Q: Recommend sanding before or after applying Teak Cleaner & Brightener?** A: I'd recommend sanding beforehand. I didn't do that, and although it helped bring back some of the lustre of the wood it didn't do as much as I'd have liked. I scrubbed like a crazy person ahead of time but I'm not that strong and I was a little disappointed in the end result. **Q: Can my baby use this product a lot?** A: Only if your baby is made of teak. **Q: Is this product harmful to plants?** A: Not harmful but doesnt work by combining the cleaner and brightener it is too weak. Even the original cleaner is no longer full strength. I had to use the cleaner over 4 days and applications with contact wire brush scrubbing.
