It is thinner than a tri-fold I replaced it with, with all the cards in it. The cards are what bulk up a wallet so if you have a lot of them, it’s better to have a separate card case and wallet. If you are robbed, you might get away with your cards. The thief may be satisfied with the wallet and the cash it contains. If you are an all-in-one guy, this wallet has room for 10 cards, more if you want to stack them. That makes for centralized management of your life having all cards in one place, an organizer’s dream, but a nightmare in the unlikely event you should be robbed or lose your wallet. You must decide which method works for you.The Tumi tri-fold I replaced had nappa leather, a very smooth leather, along with ballistic nylon in the middle at the folding points. It lasted over 10 years and still looked OK. Sweat will damage the finish, as I found out the hard way carrying it after a tennis match. This bi-fold has similar construction.If you want a better dress wallet, check out Bvlgari wallets. I liked the 290076, one unique style.

I travel internationally and I appreciate the deep folds which holds larger international notes without edges sticking out of the wallet. Yes the wallet is just a tad too large for most dress pants (tough to button the back pocket if the wallet is vertical). Great trade off though because all credit cards and notes are very secure in the wallet and it is protected against RFID snooping. Best premium wallet that I have found, and I've tested many.

Bought this for my husband. Leather is thick not supple. It is well made yet hard to get in and out of pocket easily.

This Tumi wallet is bigger than my old one. It gets stuck in my back pocket so that it hard to get out at times. Not so much genes but with dress slacks. The credit card slots are very tight. It is hard to get cards out especially on the right side. Otherwise, typical high Tumi quality. I rated it down mostly because of the style not because if its quality.

Well made, on the par with Salvatore Ferragamo and LV, Tumi certainly better value. We will see after 10 years of wear and tear. Based on my initial inspection, I am happy to report that I decided to get a business bag as well from Tumi. At that price there is no competition.

I owned an earlier version of this wallet and loved it, so I bought another when that one finally wore out after 6 years. I wish I'd read the reviews first, because I am seriously dissatisfied. For starters, it has a ridiculous raised plastic logo sticking out that catches on things and looks extremely tacky. I don't understand why anyone would put a plastic logo on an otherwise nice looking leather wallet. The leather, however, is extremely stiff and bends your credit cards. Furthermore, the wallet is too big, feels like a 6-inch 2X4 in your pocket, and it sticks out where a pickpocket can easily grab it, especially if you are sitting on a bar stool. I've actually had it slide up out of my pocket twice and fall on the floor while sitting, Accordingly, I threw it out and bought a different brand. A total waste of money.

the leather is not as good as other Tumi series, but it's still pretty good. worth the price
