I bought this to stick a decorative ribbon trim to spruce up a dress for an upcoming renaissance faire. The dress itself is a bit cheap of a cheap blend, which is why I didn't think it would look good if I used my sewing machine on it lol. The smell is very strong. The glue itself does work, but you need to be patient with it. While it's doing it's job sticking the ribbon to the dress hem, I have to work in very small sections to make sure it's adhering properly. It does go through the fabric, but then again I'm using it on super cheap fabric..because it's not going through the jacquard ribbon that I'm using lol. I can't tell you on the longevity of the quality, but I honestly don't see it causing much of an issue for what I'm using it for. I would think it would be good for a quick job, but that's about it. Other than that, its worth the price for what you're getting.

Purchased this for crafts yet found it so useful around the house. I had a throw pillow with a rip and after unsuccessfully sewing it back together, I used this glue and that did the trick! I’ve even washed the pillow since and the seam is still in tact. This glue is wonderful and worth every penny.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased this because I machine washed a cushion that was supposed to be hand wash/spot clean/dry clean only. It got caught and ripped the fabric. I was able to glue it back together. It's holding well so far. Only thing is since it was a light gray color fabric the glue dried dark grey so you can see it. Good thing it was on the back end side of the cushion so you can't see it.

This works good but I wish the glue was just a tad thicker. Works good though.

Smell is so incredibly strong, feels unsafe to be around. According to my mother, the fabric glue she has hardly has any smell, so apparently the product can be made without smelling like its actively trying to cause cell death and mutations lol. Also, this glue shows easily through a single layer of lightweight fabric. Says to use in a well ventilated area...well, nowhere in your house is going to be ventilated well enough for this smell to dissipate in less than a few days' time. Which leaves outdoors as your option. But not all projects are really suited to trying to do in your yard. I got this to re-line all the drawers of a jewelry armoire. Only used for 2 drawers before switching to hot glue gun.

This glue does it job..Try not to use in high effective areas that you depend on if you get wet..it really do not hot with water so try and use where that may not be a issue..I mostly use it for speakers,some curtain work and car seat repair where it may not be presetable...good glue though..
