Got this today and installation was smooth. Just use any of the nodes and connect the ethernet cable to the WAN port. The other node you can keep plugged in at any point at your place. As of now, I can't see any drop in speed. With the just router, I used to get around < 10mbps of speed, when it was placed a distance. Now with the mesh, with the same distance, I'm getting around 45 - 50 mbps of the speed, which is my maximum ISP speed. This has solved the distance issue I had. I'm able to connect 5 devices and there doesn't seem to be a problem with speed at all. Really awesome product. Will recommend it.

I am no techie and more often than not, I get stumped when i try to deal with hardware settings. It gets too complicated for me to set up IP adress, configure router, understand firewall settings and all other damned thngs. And usually, i fall upon that techie friend or office sys admin to help me... But that means, I had to wait for a weekend before I could access a wifi. This is my story, everytime I change my router or move into a new house. But with Tenda its veen a breeze to set up and get going. The in-app instructions are spot on and most of the configurations are done automatically. For the first time I had setup my Home wifi and feels ng invincible already :). This review is just about installation. Shall update regarding the product performance after using it for a month.

Good product and easy to install. Occasiaonlly one of the nodes will say full (conn limit reached) for no reason, so just restart it. Other downside made in China and possibility of spying/snooping, so I connect my laptop directly to my router and bpass Tenda. My bad.. should buy non-Chinese. Waiting to get the Google Nest mesh router.

Installation - As there was no web interface it was a bit difficult to figure out the problem. The ISP technical team then found it was not able to authenticate credentials to their server with the username and password. They then reset the MAC. Then installation went very fast and only took a few mins. Usage - Once this was done the system works flawlessly. No problems faced so far. Good video streaming speeds over the complete mesh. Great for "simple" users who want a fuss free system - assuming install is done properly. Advanced users will probably have to wait for their mobile app to be upgraded with advanced features.

Very easy to setup and use. Extends the wifi range to existing dead zones. Worked really well for me. Anyone looking for a mesh router for a medium sized home can definitely look into this product.

I use a 1 Gbps connection and the root node works fine. However, the other nodes DON’T connect despite being in the same room about 10 feet (NOT meters) apart with no walls in between. The same issue occurs on a replacement product as well. I’ve requested for a return on this product now. Will probably try Netgear now. P.S. The wifi speeds on the root node are fine, ~400 Mbps on mobile devices, and it’s WiFi coverage is also reasonably good.

I have had major issues when I moved to a new house with wifi coverage. I searched for a solution and found this product. Installation was a breeze and it immediately solved coverage issue and not only that for some reason my internet speed had also increased. I do not understand the trickery behind it😁 but this is one stop solution for your wifi concerns

The product comes in good condition with good packaging. The overall coverage is nice but cannot penetrate glass doors. The switching to different nodes is a seemless experience. The coverage of 5Ghz band is low and if you prefer wired connection DO NOT buy this product as it does not have gigabit ethernet ports instead i recommend going for mw6. It is an amzing product for the price. The installation is very easy and quick with the mobile app. There is loss of speed in the nodes that are a bit far from the primary node. If your are willing to spend a little more I would recommend going for netgear orbi. The app is very helpful in showing all the devices connected to specific nodes and the feature to add a port forwarding rule to a certain device instead of an ip address is fantastic.
