P 244600 634809 Flat End Boot Hook With Plastic Handle, 8.5", Silver

It broke the first time I tried to use them. The plastic handle came off the metal part. No way to fix them and could not return them so had to just threw them away. A complete waste of money. I tried to get a return for them since they broke first time I used them but could never get any reply or help. So in the trash they went. If I could give a negative star rating I would.

Especially wonderful for brand new, stiff boots. These hooks make the putting on of new boots very simple and easy. Over time as the boots stretch, maybe the hooks won't be as critical. But, this simple tool works great. On the other side when it is time to take off boots, I purchased a simple boot cricket from Amazon.com. Makes taking boots off....effortless! Am happy with my Amazon.com purchases.

I had knee surgery a year ago and since then no matter how much physical therapy, they just arent the same and are not as flexible.... especially turning a big sideways. This is the position I need to use to get into my fav pair of Ariat slouch cowboy boots. They do not have a hard stand up top. Which means that having these hooks to pull the boot on easily so it pops onto your foot is a lifesaver!I can not believe that I have gone without boot hooks all these years! No more bending over and contorting trying to get my foot, ankle and heel lined up to get into my favorite pair of boots!Thanks for a great product!

Given as a gift, this product works well for him to get his shoes on. I only gave it 3 stars because about the second time he used it, the top came off in his hand. We ended up gluing it back together. I honestly thought it would be made better.

Broke after about 7 uses. Plastic handle pulled right off of the metal. Otherwise very useful to get equestrian riding boots I just wish it lasted a bit longer.

I recently bought these because of back problems, hoping that they would ease putting on my favorite boots. They are awesome & also were inexpensive and well made. I would highly recommend anyone with pull on boots to get a pair & save your back from struggling to put your favorite boots on! :-)

I tried to return this but forgot to ship it in time and passed the window. Literally the first time I used this the plastic handle pulled completely off of the hook. Total waste of money.

I own an old pair of very expensive Lucchese boots that would take me 15 minutes of fighting to put them on. I actually stopped wearing them because it took too much effort with a bad back. I purchased these boot hooks and they work great. It now just takes a couple of minutes and with very little effort. So don't hesitate to buy this item if you have tight boots, they're amazing!

My first impression of these was - solid, not likely to break, functional.But, after about 3 uses, on not tight Bluntstones,the hook pulled out of the handle. Not a big issue, pounded it back into place with a bit of Gorilla glue added. A few uses later, the other one did the same thing. Ditto.So far, everything is staying put.But, shouldn't the manufacturer take care of this sort of thing?
