The kit is easy to use - the directions are well written and easy to follow. The finished product may not have looked like one from the store but it sure tasted like it. If you can turn on an oven you can make these pretzels. The kit comes with either salt or sugar/cinnamon - make both. The kit makes 10 pretzels (large) or you can make them smaller. You can make regular pretzel shapes or whatever you like, my kids love making the letter of their names. The directions state to use warm water to activate the yeast, but I was surprised at how hot it needs to be. I made several batches that didn't rise before I used hotter water. The pretzels came out great though (especially the cinnamon batch) - mine were a bit drier (although probably healthier) than what I normally get from Auntie Anne's.One suggestion might be to split the ingredients up into smaller packages (especially the yeast), so it would be easier to make smaller portions.
