I have fine thinning hair and use this product with the spray/pump applicator. I would be lost without this product. It not only hides where my hair is thinning, but gives me a little protection from the sun for short outings. I started out using a product that brushes onto my scalp, but this product works so much better for me. You just sprinkle the powder onto the roots. I use a little spray to hold it in place. The applicator makes the application simple. The applicator helps me with even application. I have read reviews about the applicator not working after a while. I have found if I keep the container at least 3/4 full of powder it alleviates little puffs of air that leaves a bare spot where powder should be.

Looking for an alternative to Toppik due to the increased price, I decided to try this product. In my experience, this product does not compare. The first problem is the consistency of the product. It clings together in clumps, almost like matted fibers. I tried applying the product in two ways: with the Toppik applicator and straight from the bottle. When I tried the applicator, it clogged during application then spat out a clump of product. I tried applying the product again straight from the bottle. When applying it in this manner, the product came out much more evenly. However, the product did not blend well with the hair or in the scalp; it just sits there. I also used hairspray to set the product, yet this did not alleviate the clumping or promote the product to blend better in the hair. Besides these issues, the medium brown (the color I used) is not a true medium brown. It has a red tint that does not blend in with the hair. If you would like to try this product and are a medium brown, go a shade darker.

I ordered to refill my Toppik container. Read lots of reviews. So far, so good. I use the dark brown. I get the same great coverage for my thinning near my hairline. As with Toppik, I use some light hairspray to hold and it stays in for long periods and looks natural. I will reorder but it will be awhile because a little goes a long way.

I've found this to be a great product to use while I'm waiting for my hair to grow back. I'm using Rogaine, but regrowth takes time. Meanwhile, I'm using the fibers to fill in thin spots. It not only conceals the scalp that can be seen through the hair, it also builds volume so it looks and feels like you have more hair. It's virtually undetectable. The only things I don't love about the product is the dust-like fiber particles that settle on things after I've applied it, and it sometimes makes my scalp itch. To me, both of these issues are minor compared to the increase in my self-confidence.

Great stuff. I wish I knew about it ten years ago when my hair first started quitting on me. People are amazed when I show them how well it works. Very cost effective compared to other brands of hair fibers (and do not discolor pillow cases or clothing like some others I have tried). It comes in a plastic bag, so you can reuse the dispenser from one of the other brands if you have one or just get a salt shaker with a lot of holes.

This is the best way to buy this product if you have a container to put it in, I had a Caboki and a LA LabsHairpro container and the Caboki is the best working shaker, its almost worth buying one just for the container to refill. You have to use a thin flat head screwdriver to get the plastic screen off. I keep refilling my Caboki bottle and this product works as well as the more expenisve Caboki. It covers my small area in my crown and looks very natural.You have to be careful if you slip a sweater or shirt over your head as if it gets bumped you can scrape some of this off. I Have read its a good idea to wash out at night to get it off your scalp. I think this works better for a smaller bald area or thin area

Proceed with caution! I purchased this after all of the positive reviews saying that the product was just like Toppik. NOT AT ALL. These fibers leave little black "hairs" all over my face (I applied them to my HAIR with the Toppik tube/pump). I always have to take a tissue and wipe down my entire face multiple times because they get everywhere. Also, don't even think about running your hands through your hair, they will be covered in the fibers. I've only ever used Toppik and will definitely just pay the extra money. This was NOT worth it at all.

I was a bit skeptical about this product - reviews can be very misleading sometimes, but I have to say this one hit a home run for me. I didn't know the top unscrewed from the Toppik bottle (YAY!!) and the other product easily poured in. I think I actually like this product better because it doesn't have that slight greenish tint like the Toppik product does (in the medium brown color). So, this one will get reordered when the time comes.
