Optimum Opti-Seal is a revolutionary paint sealant that creates unmatched slickness and gloss with just a few drops per vehicle. One ounce completely seals and protects 4-5 cars! This product leaves no residue and requires no buffing. Enjoy months of durable polymer protection with just drops of Opti-Seal. Optimum Opti-Seal is a true paint sealant with no cleaning properties. It seals and protects paint under a crystal clear barrier of cross-linked polymers. Dirt, moisture, oil, and UV radiation are all sealed out of the paint to maintain optimum gloss. It is a state-of-the-art, stand-alone spray sealant that provides real, durable protection for paint, plastic trim, wheels, glass, and all exterior surfaces (except rubber). The science behind Opti-Seal is incredible. The hyper concentrated polymer sealant begins cross-linking as soon as it hits the paint. Opti-Seal flashes almost immediately to leave a polymer film on the paint. Opti-Seal is not a short-cut product. It is a state-of-the-art, stand-alone spray sealant that provides real, durable protection for paint, plastic trim, and wheels. This is a last step product, not a maintenance product. After polishing, apply Opti-Seal and walk away. Opti-Seal is the only paint protection your vehicle needs. APPLICATION TIPS: Use very sparingly. Opti-Seal is made to be applied in a thin layer. Always use a clean and dry applicator to spread Opti-Seal over your vehicle. Prep the paint before applying Opti-Seal. Remove any swirls or imperfections beforehand because Opti-Seal is a true paint sealant with no cleaners or fillers.

Economical, Slick, Easy to Apply, & Nice Gloss!
This is the first sealant I have ever used and I love it! I have been browsing /r/AutoDetailing a lot and reading around on the internet to see which one to get. I have been using spray waxes like, Ice Turtle, Optimum Car Wax, and Meguiar's D156. I thought to myself I should probably put a good protective and harder layer below the wax as it is recommended by many. This stuff is very easy to apply, and I love how a little goes a long way here. I do cheat and use about two spritz a panel instead of the one, but I made sure to watch a lot of YouTube videos from OPT to apply it correctly. The pictures are after using ONRWW diluted normally with a gallon of water and Garry Dean method for cleaning. Then used Opti Seal as a drying aid. Then applied a second later on the hood, windshield, roof, rear windshield, and top of the trunk. Then several layers of Ice Turtle Spray Wax (Leftover as I am now using D156 from now on).I would highly recommend! As a college student living with his parents in an apartment, this stuff is very economical.

It's ok. More Internet hype than anything.
I applied Opti-Seal on two vehicles. Both vehicles were cleaned and clayed. One is Casablanca White pearl color, which this product softens the "glittery" look. The other is a silver pine metallic color which this product did nothing in regards to look. (I did a side-by-side comparison, front door panels with Opti-Seal vs rear door panel with no Opti-Seal in various settings.) Maybe there was a better formulation of this product in the past? Or maybe it's all hype. The Opti-Seal I received is like spreading a ultra thin layer of petroleum jelly on the paint.Easy to apply? 100% trueGloss? Nope. This product does not create gloss. Carnauba wax creates gloss. I even apply to my cell phone which works great, but still no gloss.Applied on glass? Why would anyone want to do that, because there are much better products specifically for glass. This product leaves wiper streaks and didn't last a week on glass.Durable? At two applications on both vehicles, after three months, the durability seems to be an inverse curve with probably 30% life left.

Easy to apply and produces great results.
I tried this on two vehicles. One a grey 2017 Lexus. This application produced a very nice shine as good as the premium wax I used to use on this vehicle. The car didn’t require any prep other than a good wash and dry. I double coated most of the car. I wasn’t too impressed until I saw the car the next day. It was very slick to touch and had a very nice premium waxed look. The next vehicle was a white 2006 Toyota that spent all its life in the hot Florida sun. I had previously polished the paint so a good wash and dry is all I did before applying. The water just rolls off now and the look is amazing for a 13+ year old vehicle. It took two to three coats but well worth it. I still haven’t used half the bottle yet.No regrets buying this. Just wish I had tried this sooner.

Not bad
I don't have any real expensive cars but the 3 I do have I like to keep in as good as shape as possible. It does a good job of bringing out the shine on the cars and even brought my old 86 4Runner rock crawler back to life. With doing 3 trucks including a football field of a truck (F350 crew cab long bed) barely put a dent in the bottle. If it lasts as long as some say it is worth the price tag.

Wheels, Glass, Paint... It flat out works.
When it comes to caring for my cars, I am stubborn and tend to stick with "lines" of products (Menzerna Polishes, CarPro cleaning agents and coatings etc). However, a time comes once in awhile where I experiment with bunches of new products. I have always stuck with the original Rain-X for glass, Menzerna Power Lock for the wheels and I tend to trust mostly German-branded products (Sonax, P21S, Menzerna) on my paint.OptiSeal on Wheels: I wanted something a bit less "waxy" than Menzerna PowerLock to apply to my wheels. OptiSeal truly is a wipe-on, walk-away product, and it's concentrated so it makes sense for this application. I actually applied this to my wheels when they were removed from the car, and they have been beading water and fighting off BMW brake dust better than ever. The wheels can now be cleaned easily with just soap and water, saving me money as opposed to going through a bottle of Sonax wheel cleaner each month. It seems to be a reasonably temperature-resistant product. Before you apply it, make sure you wipe your wheels down with alcohol to remove any residues or oils and get the best possible bond.Glass: This is where this product really "shines." I removed the old trusted rain-x from the glass with clay, a regular glass-cleaning and a final wipe down of pure 91% alcohol. Again, this ensures the best possible bond with OptiSeal. I applied it with a foam applicator in straight lines. It left a couple small streaks, but nothing sinister; if it happens to you, just gently buff it off with a dry microfiber towel. Most of the sealant immediately dries clear and feels slick to the touch. As for rain repellency, the beads start running off the glass at about 30mph - 10mph sooner than Rain-X - and unlike Rain-X, there is no streaking with the wiper blades. Just clear, quiet, consistent water beading and sheeting. So far, I'm most impressed with OptiSeal on glass.Paint: To be quite honest, this is not my preferred product for paint. I have only used it once on my girlfriend's car, and it leaves a candy-like, hard reflection. However, on dark colors, it streaks more easily than most sealants if you use just a bit too much. It's a small gripe, but this is simply why I prefer sealants that require wiping off and longer cure times. If you plan to use this on paint, just be sure you use it sparingly. It produces great results.I've had an 8-ounce bottle for awhile now, and it'll last me months. A little product goes a long way, and it protects as well as it adds gloss. Overall, a great product that is simple to use at a fair price. Give it a try.
