This had a bunch of ups and downs for me. The start of the series kept me entertained enough to keep going. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad. Middle of the road stuff. You may want to watch in Japanese. If you prefer Dubs to Subs. Oof. Welp. Good luck. Around the 20th episode, the series really brought the strong game on. Really great story at this point. I was completely engaged. Until about 10 to 13 episodes before the end of the series. I was Really getting more and more frustrated with some characters that have very much over stayed their welcome and should have exited stage right a long time before. That pretty much sums up the whole ending for me. This series is about 5 to 7 episodes too long. It dragged so much that I actually had to fast forward through the last few episodes. I forgot to mention some of the dialogue that gets repeated over and over again. Feels like every. Dang. Episode this point. There are some good things about this series like the Mech designs and the overall main focus of the story plus decent music and anime style. I actually kind of liked the ending too though I might be one of the few. It just got bogged down by too much garbage by the ending. This is a 5/10 series. It’s an average anime. If it stuck the landing with the ending it might have been a 7 or 8/10. It’s difficult for me to believe that this was the same creator of the original Gundam series! I don’t think I’ve been this disappointed in an anime since I watched Char’s Counterattack. I recommend watching it some other way before you decide to buy.

In my opinion this beautiful remaster and look amazing if you like old school anime or mech fan this is amazing is it the best anime in the world no but considering it over 30 years old and looks so good

Bought a brand new copy of this for 22 dollars. 22 DOLLARS!!! Gotta love Christmas deals. This anime is a one of a kind. It is the first isekai anime. It is made by the creator of Gundam and the picture on all the episodes are picture clear. Clearer than some recent anime to date. Seeing anime treated this good makes me wonder why can't all the recent anime have a clear picture like this one since this was made in 1982. Thanks Sentai filmworks for getting the rights to this. It is a must have if you are a mecha fan.

A classic, influential series. Watching this takes me back to watching Robotech in its entirety for the first time on VHS sometime back in the late 80s-90s. From what I remember those tapes were over $100 altogether, so these blu-ray releases are a steal. If you like classic 80's mecha stuff you'll love this. Maybe not quite as good as Macross or the original Gundam, but a true classic in its own right. I do feel like the animation can be a bit wonky at times and the high res blu-ray quality may even draw attention to that, like the characters faces will be drawn crooked and undetailed, but the mecha, character designs, and story are fantastic nonetheless.

The entire show, no frills, a very efficient purchase.However the quality while satisfactory isn't anything to write home about as far as blu ray remasters go (this might be the art's fault as opposed to the remaster's) and for SOME REASON the blu ray does not let you run english subtitles on the english audio, nor does it allow you to turn off captions while running the japanese track. I'd have to research this further to understand why.

I have collected all but the last to dvd's. I never thought I would see the end. It's great to have the complete series.

The only thing that would improve this product would be linear notes, art or some other kind of inserts. Love this anime! If you're into mecha shows similar to Escaflowne, then you'll enjoy Dunbine.

富野アニメでもっとも好きな作品の一つ。リアルタイムでもみていたし、再放送もみた。再放送時に、録画できなかった回があった。Blu-ray版が安く手に入るので購入した。PCのブルーレイプレーヤー（再生ソフト必要）で、視聴可能だった。字幕もON/OFF可能。画質もきれいだった。

偶然、持っていた東芝レグザ・ＤＢＰ－Ｔ２００というブルーレイプレイヤーで何も設定することもなくきちんと再生ができました。ですが、アマゾン販売時この製品は海外版ブルーレイであって視聴するには視聴可能な機器が必要である製品である事をきちんと注意喚起しておくべきだと思います。しかし、海外版ブルーレイが再生可能な機器を持っている人であれば日本版のソフトに比べて圧倒的にお買い得な商品といえると思います。（英語字幕さえ気にならない人であれば）かつて好きだった作品をブルーレイのきれいな映像と破格な値段で見ることができて大変幸運でした。

PS3で視聴しています。PS3では英語字幕が消せないので気になるかと思いましたが、かえって英語表現の勉強になりました。日本版だと数万円のものが海外版だと数千円で購入できておまけに英語の勉強にもなるのなら、大変お買い得かと。本商品のレビューではないですけど、PS3のコントローラーでは非常に操作しにくい（誤操作が多い）ので、BDリモートコントローラーがあったほうがストレスなく視聴できます。

6枚組ですが5枚目がどのプレーヤーでも再生が出来ませんでした。あたり外れがあるみたいですね。国内版と比べても安く手に入るのでしょうかないと割り切れれば買いかと思います。
