I bought this because a recent blood test detected levels of pre diabetes. This is the second time it's happened, and I have been working hard to get my blood sugar levels down. I thought this time, I would try and track it myself until the next test. I was a bit worried with how complicated the device might be to use, but it's simple to use, and gives a clear reading, allowing me to track HbA1c levels among other useful readings. I'm really pleased I decided to get one, because it really is helping. I may not have diabetes, but this is helping me to track my levels on a daily basis. I usually use it in the morning, and then use the readings to track what I had eaten the day before. That allows me to adapt my diet, if needed. I like how it connects to my phone via Bluetooth, and the app allows me to keep a record, which is easy to use. It immediately transfers the monitor readings to the App with dates and times etc and gives 7 day, 14 day avarage readings up to 90 days. The size of the unit is quite small, which is perfect for me, as I can use it when I'm travelling. It was all a bit of a learning curve for me, but I'm glad I decided to go with this monitor. I can't compare it to any others, but it's become a part of my daily routine and it certainly helps to give peace of mind, instead of the uncertainty of where my sugar levels are. I can see I still need to reduce them, but this device is helping me in the right direction, before waiting for my next blood test.

The device is well made! The lancing system is a bit complicated. It would be easier if separate needles are employed which would have to be separately purchased. A bit of extra effort.
