These styptic pencils work. If you cut the bumps on your face and are on blood thinners (plavix) like me you'll avoid a messed up looking face.

Perfect First-aid
Absolutely the perfect first aid necessity for anyone who shaves. I've been buying this exact brand for 20 plus years. I highly recommend one. One thing I did learn is that when you get yours, always rinse with cold water; otherwise, it will dissolve in a matter of minutes. However, if and when it creates a rough exterior, simply run it under hot water for a few seconds.

This will last you several lifetimes
My dad gave me a styptic stick when i started shaving 40 years ago, I finally got that stick to 1/2 way down recently and decided to get another one. Wow this one is huge, 4x the size of my original stick in size/weight. I think this one is heirloom size/quality, it is so big I think it may be passed down to my great great grandson and he might not be able to get through using it in his lifetime. Impressed with the size and quality of it. Stops the bleed from the cuts effectively. Thick and durable too.

The Most Effective Styptic
I've used powders, gels, liquids, lotions and more and finally found a styptic that truly WORKS! I have used Pinaud's styptic pencil on numerous occasions and love the results. Nicks and cuts are sealed instantly while scabbing and scarring are reduced to near-nothing. I highly recommend it!

For Shaving Cuts, These Work Right Away Sealing the Cut
These pencils WORK VERY WELL, as opposed to other products I've used, such as liquid brush on products. I've been using Styptic Pencils since I began shaving in my mid teens (I'm female) for cuts when shaving my legs. I am in my 70's now and still use them. And they still work. Expect a slight burning sensation, but that's normal and it leaves almost immediately.

Wet Shaver and Sometimes You Need It
I've been a wet shaver for over ten years. I'm happy to say I don't need this as often as I used to but every now and then. Since that's the case, this jumbo pencil lasts a long time and the Clubman styptic pencil works pretty good. Stings like a kiss from the devil but that sting lets you know it working!
