Does exactly what it's supposed to.
Helps correct your wonky hand entry. Smaller paddle won't trash your shoulder Great Finis quality.

good quality, but limited use cases
Quality is good, but usefulness limited to advanced beginner freestyle swimmers. May not be for a beginner: Difficult to use if technique is not good, but that is one reason you use these--to force good hand entry and catch, but overuse can make you over-reliant on them to keep the pull oriented properly. Not very large area, so not as suited for strength training as some other designs, but easier on the rotator cuff than most paddles. These are not my 1st choice paddles due to limited applications compared to classic flat paddles or other specialized paddles: These focus on hand entry and light strength work. Arena Elite finger paddles work the catch phase better, but mostly use Finis Isos for pull and strength work (I avoid flat paddles due shoulder injuries). Used these for 5% of my last 150km of training. I have used 8 or 10 different paddles over 50 years of competitive swimming (distance free, fly, IM, triathlon). Personally think Finis Isos are by far the best, except for serious strength training for U.S.S. and collegiate swimmers.

Thanks to whomever suggested stretching the tubing in both directions
Does what it says on the tin, or it feels like it anyway. I got these to help clean up my stroke and get a better feel for the water, and I can see how they might be able to do that after trying them out in the pool. The brilliant person who suggested stretching the tubing in both directions saved me a ton of trouble. I salute you! Using the properties of the tubing instead of trying to force it is the key. It didn’t require much force at all, but the fit was very snug once the tubing was in place.

Holy fast results!
I'm a new triathlete and just started to learn how to swim last summer - talking NO swim experience other than head above water half-effort breast stroke, swim to the dock in the pond and hang out all afternoon in the sun. I've been practicing and swimming a ton over the last year. All I want to do it improve my form and endurance. So I got these paddles to use during pull drills and immediately I discovered where I've been messing up with the catch and when I end the follow-through on my stroke with my left hand. I did 300 yards with these on and using my pull buoy, then dropped them both for a 200 yard freestyle swim interval.... It was like night and day. I could feel the "catch" like I've NEVER felt it before! They're so inexpensive, I would highly recommend giving them a test. I'm only 5'0", so I went with the Junior size. While I was getting used to them and reaching the wall on the deep end, I lost one of them off my hand. They float, so no big deal other than interrupting the swim. I'm not entirely sure I shouldn't have gone with the adult size, but the Jr seems to be fine. I don't want the paddles doing ALL the work for me.

Don't Over Do It
Paddles work just fine, but I got tendonitis from using them too much/often. If you're old (like me) take it easy. (The cure for my tendonitis? Rest.)

Hands Down
These paddles are great. Fit for all sized hands. Gives immediate feedback on hand position as it enters the water. Also useful as a workout aid to smooth out your stroke. Could be cheaper, I guess, but do exactly what they're supposed to.

Good product made of bad material.
From the beginning I disliked the glass-like plastic this paddles are made of. The material is fragile and it can break just like glass. In the water, if you're paddling incorrectly, it will throw you off and make you cross your arms. I didn't return them because I kept the rubber and used it on an old pair of paddles I have. Thank you keep swimming and greetings from the Bronx, USA 🗽🇺🇸

Fun and extremely effective
These Junior freestyler hand paddles have been extremely helpful. I thought they’d make a bad stroke feel bad, but I find they make a good stroke feel right. So, by combining the paddles with some YouTube videos on good technique, I’ve been able to improve my stroke and know I’m doing it right. The upshot is that my stroke has improved tremendously and I swim much faster and easier. Plus the paddles are fun to use. I highly recommend this product. I'm an adult with small hands, so the white Junior paddles worked very well for me. Which was lucky because I thought the listing was for white or yellow paddles. I didn't realize at the time of purchase that the white ones were smaller.
