Good quality .
Good quality. The antifog lasts quite well- at least 30 minutes . The goggles used for sea swimming every day for 6 months . Once nose bridge is correct adjustment the seal works well. Love the compact size , minimising suntan around eyes , as well as how lightweight they are - great for travelling .

Swim team
If you ever swam on a team then you probably seen or used this swiss style goggles. Speedo just repacked the exact style goggles that have been around for ever. If you are not swimming laps this is probably not the set you want. They are not the most comfortable. They come in pieces and you have to put them together to fit your head and face. There's tricks to setting them up like twisting the eye sockets to make the nose bridge shorter then you put the strap on so it isn't twisted and that's all the adjustments that you ever do. Want a real set of competitive swimming goggles. This is them if you want a comfortable set of goggles for your backyard, pool or swimming. Recreationally find something else. This is a decent price for two sets the iridium tinted are for backstrokers and the blue is for the rest of your strokes butterfly, breast, free. Speedo nailed it by releasing rebranding repackaging the classics. This set is just like you would remember if you ever bought Swiss goggles before.

Difficult to Assembly, Uncomfortable, Foggy
I am an average swimmer and have owned two other pairs of goggles in the past. I wanted try something new and believed all the hype the 5 star reviewers posted for this. I received the package and it was missing one of the connector strings. Regardless, this is how I would assess the overall experience after assembling and trying them in the pool. Pros: - Price. Because you get two pair for indoor/outdoor swimming - Easy to keep tight and strapped Cons: - Foggy. Extremely foggy despite trying all the suction techniques I know - Uncomfortable. I tried all adjustments for the nose piece, measured distance between eyes, etc. but these goggles seem to pinch the skin and are not comfortable. I guess that is primarily due to the lack of rubber between the plastic and your skin/eyes. - Assembly. First of all, there are no instructions. It seems fairly simple to assemble from the pictures but it is not. Even if you do, it will not feel comfortable once you put them on. Overall, I am very disappointed and would not recommend these. Speedo is a good brand but in this case, it failed. Do not believe the hype from the others.

Swedish Convert
I swam competitively in high school, and so I've been aware these goggles existed for some time. As a teen, I was too afraid to try these because I thought they would have the same kind of suction as my other goggles, and without padding, my eye sockets would be killing me after every practice. I had been using the Speedo Sengar goggles for a while because they came with the flexible solid nose piece which was fused to each lens, and they had a low profile. While I was on a forced swimming hiatus, Speedo did a pretty stupid thing and discontinued this style. Previously, I swam outdoors, and my Sengars were tinted with mirrored lenses. I now must swim indoors because it's too cold to swim outdoors year round where I live. My Sengars were too dark for the indoor pool. I bought some Vanquishers. They fogged up like crazy even when I spit in them; they leaked fairly badly, and the seals wouldn't stay on the lenses; they put too much pressure on my eyes and hurt at the end of my swim (2 miles). Because the new product wasn't exactly working out, I decided I would give these a shot. If they didn't work out, I wouldn't be out too much for a pair of goggles. Teenage me was dead wrong and an idiot for not having a more open mind. The suction is just right. I don't feel any pressure on my eyeballs. They never leak unless I adjust them incorrectly. Like any goggle with anti-fog claims, the standard anti-fog stuff wears off soon. Spitting in them keeps me fog free for my entire workout, and anybody who thinks that's too gross to be worth it is not a real swimmer. They stay on when I dive in to start my workout. I like to keep times on a mile, a 500, and a 50, and so staying on for the dive is great. I've been using these for a week now, and I can't sing their praises enough. Those who give the product a low rating for requiring assembly are unjustified in doing so for two reasons: 1) assembly is required because these were meant to be a custom fit, and 2) assembly requires a manual dexterity that's just a step above my three year old. Those who complain that there is no padding on the goggles are illiterate or blind. The picture clearly shows that the padding is not there, and the description of what comes with the goggles does not include padding.

classic Swedish goggles, they work.
What can I say? I swam competitively years ago and these were the only goggles I tried that ever worked acceptably for me. Any other type would need to be cinched painfully tight to not leak or come off completely when starting off the blocks. These ones, despite having no gaskets at all, actually seal well and are very comfortable. I decided that since I live right near a pool now I might as well start swimming again, so I obviously searched for the goggles that had worked for me in the past and was glad to see that they are still made (although my old ones, which I can't find - and the strap is probably rotted to heck if I could - were brown smoked, which doesn't seem to be an option today - although the blue mirrored ones I got seem to be about the same darkness, and supposedly offer UV protection which is nice if you do backstroke) and sure enough they worked just like I remembered them. So why four stars? I got these, adjusted them to fit my face, and headed over to the pool. I was in the pool for maybe 30-40 minutes or so, got out, went over to deck chair, tossed goggles on gym bag. When I looked down, only a few minutes later, I could see that inside the goggles there was some kind of transparent coating that was already peeling off, like paint that you've hit with paint stripper. I assume that this was the "anti-fog" coating. When I rinsed them under the sink it all came off, so it's not the end of the universe - they'll still function fine. But if you're expecting these to be actually "anti-fog" they won't be - apparently the first time you get pool water inside the lenses, it's done for. No big deal though, just spit in them and smear it around with your thumbs, or rub some nose grease on the insides like we used to do before all this fancy "anti-fog" stuff. Even so, these are still the only goggles I've ever tried that I like, and until someone makes a really compelling case that I should try something else, I'll probably keep wearing these, and buy another pair of the same whenever I lose or break them.

The Best Goggles Ever
I am 50 years old and have been swimming two or three times a week for fitness for over 30 years. During all that time I have tried many different types of goggles most would start working well then after a couple of months would start leaking and I would have to keep tightening the strap in order to keep water out to the point that after a few lengths of swimming the pain around my eyes would force me to cut short my swim. Therefore I did some research and come across Swedish Goggles which I am embarrassed to say I had never heard of. But further research revealed that theses goggles were the choice of many Olympic swimmers so I thought good enough for them I'll give them a try as they were so cheap. I was a little daunted that they had to be self assembled but then it dawned on me that is the way to get a perfect fit for your own face. If you are patient and take the time to adjust the nose piece and head strap correctly you will have the most perfect water tight comfortable goggles you will ever wear. I started off using part of the head strap for the nose piece but found I needed to tighten this slightly every swim and replace this and the head strap every couple of months due to the chlorine degrading it. So I purchased a bungee strap to keep the goggles in place which is far easier to adjust and way more durable. I then tried the string and plastic tube for the nose piece which for me is the best way to get the correct fit for your face. The trick here is to tie the string loose so the gap between the eye piece is wide then swim, if there is any leaking undo one side of the strap and twist the eye cup round to make them narrower if you are patient and persevere with this method eventually the leaking will stop and you will have found the correct set up for you. Also don't have the head strap too tight it should be just tight enough to keep the goggles in place any discomfort around the eyes and you'll need to loosen the strap. I don't usually do product reviews but was getting fed up reading one star reviews where the buyer didn't realise what they were buying or couldn't be bothered to assemble them correctly. If you take the time to assemble these goggles the right way which means adjusting the nose piece and the head strap correctly these will not leak, will be comfortable and will be the last goggles you ever buy and like myself will wish you had discovered these many years ago.

Standard Swedish Goggles, Low Quality Straps
I purchased these goggles and put the first (mirrored) pair together. The goggles performed well once the tensions and sizes were setup properly. I found the mirrored goggles pinched a bit on the inside that contacts the bridge of the nose on the left lens. I adjusted the tension during my first swim and this took away the pinching; however, the action of untying the knot caused the strap/band to tear half way through. I am not impressed by the low quality of the bands. I have to admit though, I purchased these goggles because my previous pair of (non-Speedo) swedish-style goggles had bands that started to dissolve within 4 months of use. I am getting back into the sport after 17 years off and am unhappy to find the quality of equipment seems to be going in the wrong direction.

Once you understand the power of the periperal vision and adjustable fitting, there is no going back
I bought 4 extra pairs in all colors after wearing them in the pool, lake and the ocean for 6 months. Have tried everything from Arena to Speedo all kinds and many more. I thought I would never wear Swedish goggles. After seeing some top athletes wear them, I purchased a pair. Took them off after a week of using them. Came back to it after a month , this is after readjusting the nose piece. And now I am hooked. My reasons:- 1) The single most important reason is the nose strap, I always has red marks on my nose. Not anymore. 2) The vision is peripheral , without the rubber cover, the view is majestic 3) Its way way affordable than the competitive ones and you can try so many colors without shelling a bomb. 4) Each pair lasts a lifetime - just a new strap or nose piece change and you're good to go. Things to ensure if you're curious to try :- 1) Be Patient - Give them time - I wear contacts and struggled with water entering my eyes . only to get frustrated and leave them - Now I cannot do without them 2) Adjustment is the KEY - spend time with adapting and adjusting them, once set - you're free and easy going, like any other pair of goggles 3) Trust the champions and the pros - Accept the slight pain when you wear them, they will change the game underwater for your eyes . You will feel more part of the ocean, lake ,pool once you grasp the benefits these goggles possess. Calmly and with some dose of positivity try them and you won't be looking back again!! Happy Swimming , Diving , Jumping in Water !!

Love swedish style this speedo version is great
I used to race with the original Swedish goggles back in the ’90s, and since getting back into swimming, I’ve struggled to find a pair I really love. These Speedo goggles were a pleasant surprise—they feel just like the original Swedish goggles from decades ago, but they might even be a bit more comfortable.

un duo polyvalent.
Un bon duo, une paire pour la piscine: la claire et une pour l'eau libre: la fumée dorée. Après c'est vrai qu'en compétition en eau libre il faudra préférer une paire à vision plus large pour mieux voir les bouée....
