I bought this as we have 4 dogs, one from being a puppy last year and one getting on a bit and having the odd accident here and there. We had already had to throw out our dining room carpet, I didn't even know about this product and was loath to start throwing away another carpet for the sake of a couple of spots that were clean but just couldn't get rid of the smell. A very concentrated mix of this sprayed over the offend area and the effect was immediate! it has a pleasant, non anti-septic smell - smells more like air freshener, and will last us a long time. Just wish I'd discovered this item a long time ago!
