senior world Easyfone Star - Sim 1.7 inch Kids Phone with Safety Features Like Photo Speed dial, Simple menu, SOS, Incoming Call Restriction, SOS etc Red

I ordered this phone for my Grandfather, he's very simple and i thought of keeping this beside him like a walky talkie. I speak to him with the help of the CareTouch App and it's so easy for him! He doesn't even have to pick the call, if the phone is kept by him, we can just speak to him directly! Had no idea this kind of technology is possible! There are so many features for seniors in this tiny looking phone. The SOS button is on the outside and has never come in use but is very necessary for seniors. Seniors need this... I would recommend anybody to buy it but this phone does not work on a jio sim so make sure you buy any other sim and it should be good!

Although this phone works fine but it has some issues:1. Battery drains very quickly. It only lasts for around 1 to 2 hours.2. All the extra features like Discreet Listening, Pull Location and Auto Callback which it promises doesn't work in this phone.3. There is no facility of Alarm, FM Radio etc.Al last I would say the facilities which this phone provides is really commendable but the software of this phone is not well suited or that robust to handle these many features.So I think one should buy a cheap keypad phone offline instead of buying this.

although the phone is useful but the looks and quality of plastic of phone is not good. the price 3500 is very high for such a cheap looking phone. but still like it for its features. the 4 buttons on top are quite useful but you have to stick photos on them physically or order from them for 250 rs

I was totally against giving mobile phone to kids, as its very difficult to keep a track of what they are doing with the phone. About a week back I came to know about the Easyfone Star from the news paper and felt its ok to give this phone to kids as they can't do much on the phone other than calling the listed/authorised people. At the same time, parents can keep track of their kids. Same day I ordered and received the phone the very next day. Configured the phone without any issues and its working perfectly fine. For the last one week, my son is travelling back from school all alone and we are also out of tension. Its a great thought and wonderful product. I recommend to all parents to get this phone for your school going children (and take back their expensive smart phones, if they have one :))

settings are difficult and the instructions are not great but the support was awesome, they collected the phone, upgraded the software and sent it back in a couple of days - works quite well and fits really well for what I needed for my daughter.

Not so useful

Only after 2-3 months phone's speaker & earpiece stopped working. I couriered the phone to Noida, they repaired it & return but I had to pay Rs. 310 for courier charges. This condition is not mentioned on Amazon in their warranty. This is bad because other phone companies provide free door to door service nowadays.Amazon should clearly mention this on their site.This is a waste of time & money because whenever the phone had any problem in 2 years of warranty period you have to pay courier charges everytime (Rs 310 means 9% of phone's cost) & at least 7-10 days will be wasted .So, not advisable.

I bought the Easyfone Star after doing a little research on gadgets for Dementia patients. And gifted it to a friend for her father. The features are really out of the box😊 and they made it very simple for the patients. It’s got amazing features that are absolutely mindblowing… Ok so the first thing that was really thoughtful was the SOS button on the outside and it calls till a person picks up automatically on loudspeaker mode and you can add upto 5 contacts which is really cool. Another feature I loved was that you can track GPS on this phone via an android phone so my friend has an android and she can see the location of the Easyfone Star through the Caretouch app that they have.A cool simple gadet for people who have aging parents at home and need to make sure they are doing ok..
