Finding the bed for this cradle is quite difficult in the outside market and my suggestion is go with silk cotton mattress. Never go with fur material hence it will produce heat and that is not good for baby. They sweat a lot mostly. I have ordered cradle which can be converted as study table in future for my kid. No need to take the installation service. It is not that heavy aswell. I could lift the whole cradle while shifting it to the bedroom. Paint finish is adequate. The mattress seems soft enough. Cons - Experienced one area where the wood has cracked but it has not affected the stability. You would find the need to have a collapse able railing.
