When I try to holster it, it racks the slide. This could be attributed to new leather. But as of right now, I don’t judge it as a good carry holster for a Walther PPK. **Q: How well does this holster stay open for reholster?** A: I wear it daily, it broken in well and Ive unholstered and reholstered it a lot. NEVER an issue even with it inside the waistband because this is a really high quality leather holster. I love it and will by the other handed one too to wear in different positions. Its a great holster, I love it. **Q: Do u have one right side outside the waist band? Clip on?** A: These holsters are not designed to be worn outside the waistband although some customers do choose to wear them that way. If you do, you will need to order the opposite side. For example if you are right handed order the left handed. **Q: What is the weight/thickness of the leather?** A: Not sure about leather grades as far as thickness, but it is about an 1/8 thick. And at top of holster there’s a second band of leather sewn around.
