I use this glue for everything. A HomeDepot rep turned me on to this stuff and I have been using it ever since. It takes a while to learn how to use it but once you do it is the only glue you will need. I now buy it in bulk (six-pack) and that last me about 1 year, but for most people one tube will last a long while. It is a good glue because it bonds just about any two types of material you can think of. Glass to wood, string to metal, plastic to... well, you name it. It can even be applied underwater. It dries clear and has a little flexibility to it like silicone (but much stronger and longer lasting than silicon). It's only down side is it takes 5-20 minutes to setup and a full 24 hours to completely dry. It is also sticky on your fingers so wipe it off before it gets tacky.
