Excellent Quality Genuine Dell Charger shipped with a poor-quality power cord. Power cord burnt within one month of usage. Saller should review the quality of the power cord. Otherwise a very good product for Dell Laptops.

The product has stopped charging and it's not even a month. I am not sure if this is a Genuine Dell Charger ... Amazon is reluctant to take any action and I have been asked to contact seller on my own. I had purchased this item from Amazon due to lockdown situation. Let's see if seller Is going to change the product.

The power brick is original but be aware, the power cable (the one that is separable from the brick and is meant to be pluged into the wall outlet) is not the same as the one in the product photos. You will get a local branded cable. I called local dell stores and other amazon sellers but was only able to find one person (a local store) selling the original cable (and that too for 800 INR) so this seems to be an issue with dell itself (particularly the fact that they're selling the cable as a separate entity from the brick and virtually none of their authorized sellers carry it). My only gripe is that this product page leads people to believe that they will get the original cable (due to the misleading product images). It may not have been intentional as it seems it is common practice for all dell sellers to give a non-genuine cable with the genuine brick, but it is still misleading advertisement. The cable also seems to be of much inferior quality compared to the original one (with seemingly less safety). Luckily my original cable still works, so I'll just be using that with the new brick. Overall, this is still one of the cheapest prices you'll find even if you want just the charging brick and don't care about the cable. I would suggest that you buy the original dell cable separately as it is better not to leave things to fate when considering equipment as expensive as a laptop, since the safety standards of the charging cable provided can not be verified.

Product is good. But box was already opened, i guess due to card reader which i got with the product, which was not mentioned. It is working fine. I doubt is the power cable seems to be local branded.

So, my laptop is a US origin one and the charging adapter had recently started giving me problems. My laptop would not charge when connected to the AC power and I had tried everything to fix said issue: I reset my PC and deleted apps+data; I uninstalled and then reinstalled my battery drivers; I had updated and recheck settings for my BIOS. Finally, I decided it must be the charging adapter. I ordered one off of Amazon and they sent me the wrong one. I re-tried and ordered this very adapter, and lo and behold! My PC is charging once again. So, all in all, a happy story. I'll write back after some time to keep informed if the charger is durable.

This power cord is shot circuited and cable is low quality

Genuine product bought by Dotcom computers. Although the quality of the power cord supplied along could have been better but no complains about the charger - 5 star product. Highly recommended for Dell XPS L502x.

I have a 2011 model of Dell XPS 15 purchased in the USA. This is the authentic dell charger for th xps 15. As the power cord supplied with it is of local make, i use the power cord of my old charger - with a converter. The cord length is good enough to comfortably charge the laptop even on the bed - a bit far from the wall outlet. Its expensive, but should be a one time buy (my previous original one lasted for 8 years).
