The book overall is a great textbook that teaches and guides you with every step preparing you how to apply critical thinking to your everyday life and why critical thinking is important. I am very happy with this book and I enjoy reading it. The text has been written in a very simple and comprehensive way to understand what the author is trying to tell you. The delivery came in a timely manner and the quality of the book is excellent! The only reason I didn't give this seller a 5 star, it's because the package in which it was delivered, was a cheap plastic, foldable envelope that caused the US post office to fold my book and forcibly squeeze the weak envelope with item into my 4"x9" compact mailbox causing my $96 Dollar book to fold and wrinkle! Whereas, if the seller would've delivered it in a protective hard envelope, being that the item is an expensive item and sensitive, the post office would have dropped it off at my door. This got me really upset after paying $96.00. Nevertheless, the book itself, it's worth every cent I paid for. The cover is excellent all around, and the pages and print are high quality. It would be nice if this seller would take more responsibility and respect people's hard earned money!

Everything was great until it decided to contradict itself and turn into a propaganda tool for putting science above everthing else, even logic itself. Check out page 379 where the author attempts to fill the fossil record with fish they said could walk on the surface of the earth. TA DA! Why??? Well because we drew what it really looked 375 million years ago. It's the same tap dance they do. Find a fossil, draw the picture, believe us because we are experts.

This is a great book for my logic class. I'm 23, and I find it doesn't dumb down language or concepts for "younger" readers. Unfortunately, whomever I ordered this book from waited until the last possible minute to mail the book to me, so I was in class without a book for almost 4 weeks! But if your teacher requires this book, definitely buy it. It will probably be able to explain the concepts better than your professor can!
