Never knew Spirulina powder tasted so bad! I'm not sure if it is this brand or spirulina generally tastes so yuck! I can drink/ eat pretty much anything that's healthy but this is foul, unpalatable! I'd strongly recommend to buy Spirulina capsules instead. I'm definitely not going to repurchase this as I've barely consumed it a few times and I'm on the verge of throwing it away. Imagine the smell of raw, rotten fish and drinking that foul/ nasty-smelling drink, my body has a gag reflex to it lol

Great Spirulina product. I have tried other Spirulina powders on Amazon and they're lousy. Im glad I found the right company that does things right and cares about their product.

I don't know if there are men roaming on this planet who have guts to drink this but i certainly dont😂 It is disgusting i have only drank it twice, and both times I have gagged right after. Im heartbroken that i cant drink this considering how healthy it is. I have no idea what im going to do with the packet 😐

Earlier when we bought the product was good. At with things like these we could never be sure whether the product is original or not. But it was edible considering the taste etc. But that was to be expected. With the latest batch we bought it was different. It was not like the item that we purchased earlier. The product and the package was the same, but inside the powder had changed. It was darker; almost black. And the consistency was different. And coloring seems to have been used. Mouth becomes green after use. You have to brush your teeth after taking it. Not satisfied.

I've tried various brands over the years. Quality has been declining, I can see, and prices have been rising -- even though the WHO said this is the food of the future. I once lived on spirulina, coffee (with milk powder), and water for two months -- as an experiment. Your whole body feels light and your brain feels healthier than ever. What stopped me was, of course, the desire for the taste of food :-) But remember that spirulina contains every one of the nutrients required by the human body, even including one that is present only in mother's milk. Basically, there is no complete food on earth but spirulina. --- You need to look at the brand. I haven't looked much at the price, but this one (Grenera) is quite good. You need to look for a dark colour -- rather, a bluish hue to the substance. Trust me -- and contact me if you have your doubts -- spirulina alone, with no other vegetables nor meat or anything else will make you thrive, leave alone survive! (And if there's a food crisis, you know what to buy.) Four stars because of the colour (and therefore the perception of quality).
