We bought this on March 2 and it was easy to install and replace the failed heating element. It stopped working last week so it lasted only 3 months. I was hoping maybe I just got a bad one but it seems a lot of people are having theirs fail after 3 months. I see the product advertises a 6 month money back guarantee so I have emailed the vendor so depending on their response I may change the review to something more favorable if they can offer a replacement or refund.UPDATE - I reached out to the vendor and received an immediate response. They sent a replacement within a day of my request and I received it 2 days later. So I will be installing the replacement and keeping my fingers crossed it works longer this time. I guess you get what you pay for as far as quality (original OEM goes for around $130). Great Customer Service.

IAM having problems out of the element not lasting very long not on here trying to write a bad report or anything like that just trying to get some help with maybe getting it replaced they work great when they are working but only last for around 3months I have had the dryer check out they say nothing wrong other than the element if you can help me or point me in the right direction to maybe get some help would greatly appreciate it like I said not trying too say anything bad or anything like that just trying to figure out what i can do for help maybe and this is the only way i could figure out how to contact you Thank you

I can’t tell you how many of these things I’ve gone through. The first time I replaced it, it lasted me 2 years. Now these parts are only lasting me 2-3 months no matter where I get it from. At the moment it’s cheaper than a whole new machine, but if you’re able to do that right now, you may want to just get a new machine.

The heating element was a good value compared to the $300 it cost me for a pro to do it before. I am really interested in how long it will last. It looks solid and is working well. I'll update my review if that changes. The install would have been easy, but one screw did not want to come out at the back of the old heating element, it was rusted and stuck, I had to take the back of the dryer outer cover off to get at it with enough torque to get it out. The youtube video on the process was excellent and had I not had the issue with the one screw it would have been much easier. Overall I'm happy, I saved money by not having a service tech do it, and I'm glad I did it. I recommend this product.

Had this professionally installed and just 6.5 months later it no longer works. Appliance repair company charging me $481 for replacement and installation. I clean the lint filter after every load and the appliance repairperson has absolved me of all responsibility; he said this was a faulty/rubbish product. Perhaps the one I received was defective but the repairperson did not identify any defects at the time of install. I have emailed the company to see if there is any recourse and will update my review with their response.Update: Updating to 3 starts. Customer service was great. They offered me another one or a refund. I opted for the refund and they submitted it quickly. We had an appliance repairperson take a look and he said that the one we had was an older model and not great for our Electrolux dryer. So while not happy it didn't work longer, totally satisfied with their customer service.

Update: After posting the review below I was contacted by customer service. They quickly sent a new part and my dryer is now up and running. I changed the rating based on my customer service experience. Thank youPurchased in September of 2019. Initially was very pleased with this heating element. However, just outside the 6 month warranty window the part has failed and the dryer is no longer drying. Very disappointing. We clean the lint trap every load mainly because of potential of fire. I'm now back to Amazon to find a different manufacturer.

The product was fairly easy to install and fixed the problem I was having with my dryer. My original heating element had warped over time (5 years) and was causing the dryer to turn off as a safety feature. Fast forward 2 months and now my dryer is getting extremely hot and making a noise. When it cools down the noise goes away. I'm not looking forward to ripping the dryer completely apart again after only 2 months.The company reached out to me and sent me a replacement part. I haven't been able to install it yet, but I'm very pleased with the customer service, so I've adjusted my rating. Hopefully the new part won't give me any problems

I have had a Frigidaire Dryer for a while now and this is the 2nd time I have had to change this, so it is a part that is not built to last. And it is not difficult to install but it is not easy - the videos online help - the only thing I can say is clean out all the lint in the dryer that has accumulated.

Beware, don't purchase this.Ordered and installed this part last November. We received a E64 error code which means there's a problem with the heating coil. To replace, we purchased from this seller. Last few months dryer has been taking too long to dry and not shutting off and now we've received the E64 error code again. Looks like we'll have to replace the coil which was a huge job and a pain in the ass. We'd had the original heating coil that came with the machine years ago. This new coil lasted less than a year. Don't purchase this, look elsewhere.

I bought it Jan 2021 and only worked for 7 months. Just failed!Poor quality and if you rarely use your dryer it could last less than a year.

Exactly as advertised, working like a charm. Seller even included directions on where to find install instructions online. Great purchase.
