Amazing entry level watch by Seiko. This piece is what comes to mind when someone says "wrist watch". So simple yet timeless. This watch defines simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. The bracelet is not the best but does the job. The dial is a work of art. Super versatile. It can be dressed up and dressed down. A must have! Seiko, you beauty!

I am an avid watch collector and I have some of the best automatic and mechanical watches in my collection and when I saw this watch I totally loved it .The price it was offered was icing on the cake.When I received the watch the box itself was great to look and hold and the watch inside was shining bright.The watch looks great and although the dial is small and might not look good on big and heavy hands but for an average wrist it looks good .Only thing I am disappointed about is that the bracelet is not great compared to the brand this watch is associated to and feels very light and feels like might not stand an accidental bump .Might change the bracelet later on with a better seiko strap.People who have a tight budget and want to own a automatic watch might consider this.People who wants a good watch from a great brand and can stretch their budget a little , I would suggest to go for the new seiko 5 launched in 2019-20 which is successor to this model.

It's really amazing, the finishing is too perfect , feel like a luxury watch , the box n packing is amazing too , ever last thing about this is amazing it might be smaller than u expected, if u hv a smaller wrist and your budget is below 15k just go for it don't think twice .. doesn't feel heavy very good

After years of buying Casio G-Shocks and Timex Expeditions, I finally came to terms with the fact that a watch doesn't necessarily have to be multifunctional, fancy-looking and gimmicky to be a worthy timepiece worth wearing, not that I didn't admire simple watches. I personally don't believe in spending a fortune on watches so was looking for something that doesn't break the bank. Fortunately for me, the smartwatch bug never bit me. After a few bad experiences with being sold old and non functional watches at huge discounts here on Amazon (and elsewhere), I decided to go in for a "conventional" watch, and what better than a Seiko? This Seiko 5 SNKA05K1 is a classic, no nonsense, minimalist, tough, self-winding timepiece devoid of fancy gimmickery which one seldom uses anyway. You can never go wrong with a Seiko especially with its automatic Japanese movement. You really don't need another watch, nor a battery change and are assured of accurate timekeeping literally forever. Agreed that although there are several more Seiko models out there (including the fancy ones for those who have an unlimited bank balance), this beautiful elegant navy blue dial stainless steel watch with day and date counters, is a real delight to have on your wrist. With Seiko's well known reputation, this watch will last a lifetime even after taking a fair amount of beating from the everyday life. I'm extremely happy with my decision to go in for this watch, and absolutely love the watch itself! Perhaps someday I'll go in for the white dial SNKA01K1 or the black dial SNKA23K1.P.S.- Found out that this watch is available for 6500/- in my city, but I got a 10% cashback on Amazon, so that was great!- Came with warranty card stamped by a Seiko authorised dealer.- I would recommend this watch for people with slim wrists.

This would be my first mechanical watch, watched a lot of reviews to buy a decent watch under 10K, getting married soon so end up buying this premium mechanical watch. Amazing quality and great dial size. Recommended. I bought it in sale price of 12.5K

Such a lovely product 🔥worth the money

Update : Reduced rating to 3 stars due to an issue - recently i was feeling that changing date/day manually was getting increasingly difficult due to some sort of slippage and one day i couldn't simply change date/day ( gear was slipping or broken) - the watch is in a service centre is Pune as I write this update (fingers crossed)Bought it as my first mechanical watch. Always wanted a seiko for myself.Pros : lovely looking , has a heft to it, good attention to detail, good packaging, easy to adjust the time and date , you also get Japanese day as well as english day!, comfortable to wear - no bitingCons: could have been a little bit bigger (dial) , strap was big so had to take to a watch guy to get it cut.
